Re: Solitaire Home Story Freezing

Hello @mom4rtroops 

 

Thanks for taking a moment to let us know what you're running into with Pogo Games, When you have a moment could we start by giving the following steps a try? 

 

  • Try restarting your device and potential your internet equipment
  • Clear your Web browser Cookies/Cache
  • Check if your device has updates, as well as your web browser
  • Try using your browser Incognito Mode... This may require you to manually sign in
  • Try downloading and using a different web browser (Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, or Firefox)

Also, make sure your device meets the Requirements (<-- click here) to play POGO games. If you continue running into issues playing your games, Would it be possible to get the following information

 

  • Screenname:
  • What Device are you using?
  • Which web browser do you play on?
  • Do you get an error message at all?
  • Screenshot of how your game appears...

  • the cards dont turnover now when we play they just flash but dont turn over even when i i use a joker or the bowling ball thing  been that way for awhile  am using facebook  laptop

    Solitaire Home Story has froze.  When I click continue nothing happens.  I had just finished a game and am no longer able to proceed.  I refreshed my screen, I exited out of the game and went back in and when the game loaded it was stuck on the same screen,  I then logged off and rebooted by computer, went back into the game and it is still stuck

    • Try restarting your device and potential your internet equipment
    • Clear your Web browser Cookies/Cache
    • Check if your device has updates, as well as your web browser

    I did everything you suggested.  No matter what browser I use the game is stuck exactly in the same place as the screen shot I provided.  My computer and browser meet the requirements. I can play all the other games without an issue.

  • Solitaire Home Story has been frozen for a week. It is stuck at tap to continue with a blue star burst on the screen.

    Come on EA, you have made it very difficult to contact support and now the only way to get any help is to post in the forums.  My game has been stuck on the same screen now for 4 days.  Even if I launch the game on my cell phone it is frozen.  This is unacceptable as I have been a paid member for almost 30 years.  I paid for the season pass and now I can't even play the challenges or any badge that was gifted to me.  HELP!!

  • I have tried all of the things suggested as well as 3 different laptops and different browsers.

    @EA_Illium I already sent a screen shot. I use a Lenovo Thinkpad. My browser is Chrome. No error message, it just says tap to continue. There is another thread about this very same issue. Frozen on Tap to Continue and several players have indicated they are experiencing the same issue. Poor guy reported his issue over a month ago! This is just not right!

  • I have followed all of your recommendations and Solitaire Home Story remains frozen.  This is after I paid for a season pass.  So many people are having this issue so it should be obvious by now that your solutions do not work and this is a POGO problem, not a user problem.  After shelling out for a subscription and purchasing a season pass and not being able to play, I would say this amounts to breech of contract and misrepresentation by taking payment to access a game and then not delivering.  If you cannot fix the game, then you need to at least restore my purchase of a season pass back to my account.

    I am having that issue somewhat. I do a game and there always seems to be one card that won't accept. For example, I have a 2 and then match that with the showing ACE but it won't match. I have all but quite playing home story. Too many things you have to buy to even finish one level.

  • My game has been frozen since April 10th, 2024 ...   no one cares & I'm not going to pay for some other sights that want to charge me ... EA needs to get this issue fixed without me paying someone else ... I pay my annual membership for POGO & no one at EA will even respond to my complaints ...
