Re: MAC: Sims 4 won't connect online.

I tried several of the things mentioned there, but non seem to give me a proper solution so far.

Origin seems to work fine, but inside the game, it tries to connect to the service and never does even if I do this manually.

Yes its accessing the online gallery and connecting to the game's servers, its as if I was offline all the time. Ill try what you suggest now, I have mods but they were all turned off.

I don't understand how the game was working fine for weeks and now suddenly out of the blue I can't connect to the game's online gallery. I haven't done or changed anything in terms of the game's data or folders, so why is this happening?

Im going to try using a different connection, but this seems rather bizarre to me.

It's actually a very well known issue for users with A LOT of CC/Mods. It was apparently fixed a few patches ago I think but maybe the bug has crept back in. Move your whole Mods folder out then repair the game again then try loading and see if you can access the gallery.
