Windows and Mac are different OSs, the game files are specific to the OS. The user data folder Sims 4 folder can be copied over but I would only copy over the saves/Mods/tray folders, let the game regenerate the rest.
The packs are installed in a separate folder in the same location as the game app. Currently Origin doesn't repair it although one day I hope they may bother fixing this.
