Re: SLI not Working - Apex Legends

Finally got it to work folks.. took some tinkering. but here is the solution.

1.Download "NVidiaProfileInspectorDmW-v3.3.6.2-Windows"

2.Unarchive it using your favourite compression client.

3.Open the inspector.exe file

4.Find Apex profile, delete it. If not found, continue to step 5.

5.Locate the install folder for Apex. For me it was "E:\Origin  Games\Apex\r5apex.exe". For you it might be different. Right click your desktop shortcut and copy the "target:" line. Be sure to not copy the " "

6.Paste the copied path in the pulldown menu where you find all the games paste in the correct path to your install of Apex. There is only one place to do this and its the white field to the right of "Profiles:"

7.Follow OP's tip and choose 0x020000F5 (Wargame: AirLand Battle, Call of Duty:Black Ops II, Titanfall)

8. Hit Apply changes.

9.Launch game.

10.Go to video settings

11.Change (if set to other) vsync to DISABLED

12. Enjoy use of all GPU's.

I hope that Nvidia will add my final solution to the next update. Fingers crossed

Kept messsing with it, the new nvidia profile inspector allows you to add the .exe under the profile. that doesn't work. copy and paste the absolute path into the profile name and change the SLI settings as Lt-Butterfingers said. Also the V-sync causes stuttering hard. had to turn off but can confirm this works now. thanks all

Give me more information about your setup please. Are you running any overclock or are you experiencing any flashing in the menu?

What do mean here? Does not copying the path work, does turning the v-sync off cause stuttering for you? Please follow my guide each point for success.

Good! Hope that they will enjoy higher fps and may their fragging be harder.

Hey guys just letting you know i found the fix for studdering and fps dropping when moving mouse fast. Use sli bits 0x081000f5 4x gpu and afr. This fixes everything. Even further for performance wise use 0x2a1100f5. Try this out and let me know. I noticed lower gpu usage in game not menu. As well for people not wanting to use tsaa use 0x081120f5 for full 100 increase in framerate. Even 0x2a1120f5 might do better havent tried with tsaa off.

Can you tell more about caping fps to fix crashes?

  • So I've tried every combination of suggestion in this thread and other websites, and I encounter 1 of 2 problems no matter what.

    1. the game runs at like 4fps

    2. there is awful stuttering in the game.'

A couple of times I got fooled into thinking everything was going to work, because I was getting usage on both GPUs, and thinks were silky smooth in the tutorial area, but then the second i got into an actual game, it was a stutter fest.

    I'm running 2x 1080 ti

Guess I'll just have to wait for Nvidia on this one.

  • Yes, basically capping the fps gives you more room (this lowers your temperatures and should stop crashing). You could also try fixing the crashes by going to windows graphics settings (you can find this by searching for it in windows 10) - selecting Apex Legends - options - power saving. You can cap your fps with RivaTuner : https://www.guru3d.com/content-page/rivatuner.html

i kind of had a similar issue, to solve it i just kept nvidia inspector open and it seemed to fix all the issues. Here's my profile : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YZZGgpbSHiA&t=178s (this also helped me with stuttering in the game). You could also cap your fps with RivaTuner (this helped with stuttering)

I just got banned from BF V for doing the exact same procedure to get starwarsbattlefront profile working. I dont know why this is illegal but you are warned. They gave me no reason exept violation of section 6, and no answer as to how long i am banned for. seems i got no warning. just permaban. Good job ea. and keep up the "select an answer from a list policy" that really works good for you, but not for us users.. i wrote long responses as to why im banned and referred to my stats in all bf games as an average i actually do worse in bfv. still the same bs autoreplies.

    BE WARNED
