what kink of lobbies are you guys doing this in solo? I feel like I am quite good at the game but in every match there are multiple players with all the highest badges an may pred trails. I just don't know how I can possibly get consistent high kill games or more than 20 when I am bound to run into multiple players that must have similar skill to achieve those badges. And most game I will run into a squad full of them which is impossible to 1v3 or even overcome with average players for teammates.
- E9ine_AC6 years agoHero+@SHIZNICKMASTA Honestly most mine was literally when apex was easier and still bot lobbies kinda i hate to say it like that but they played bot like back then. Currently this season my highest is about 3800 and that was try hard. Even kills have went down a lot from before cause people finally are good learned the game better.
ok makes sense, my highest this season is only 13 twice and 2800 but most games i don't get near that and seem to settle around 6-8 for a decent game. My problem is that I was also a bot initially never having played a battle royal game so learning how and when to loot was a chore and had only specialized in shooters with hitscan so relearning with bullet drop was also quite a challenge. I loved the game though and put a ton of work into getting better and just before season 3 I was getting at least a double digit kill game every single day but maxing out at 16. After SBMM though i felt like all that work was put in for nothing and it just kills me to see all these people with these badges and know that many of the times I am lighting them up.

@SHIZNICKMASTAMy teammate had the 4k damage and 20 bomb badge. So decent lobbies. It was not top tier lobbies, no pred trails if there were I did not notice them.
and some most game I’m no place near 2400. Good rounds for me are 800-1200 damage. Exceptional are the above.. Average is 300-500 damage with 1-3 kills.
i drop hot a lot, frag or Mirage Voyage almost every round. So it’s very much all or nothing.
- @DarthValtrex Well mirage voyage will not happen any more.
- DarthValtrex6 years agoHero (Retired)@hayhor But I liked the light-o-works
- E9ine_AC6 years agoHero+@DarthValtrex I almost never have my trail on unless playing with a streamer and they have theirs on. That sob is a death wish waiting to happen.
1 or 2 things will happen.
1
8 squads land on you thinking omg im punch out a pred and feel accomplished when 3 others hurt me not them.
2
No one will drop near you cause they scared.
So keeping it disabled makes it fun. I sometimes remove all my badges and put up dull ones and use chump skin so i look like a new player demolishing the lobby. That is kinda fun the amount spectators. lol - DarthValtrex6 years agoHero (Retired)
@E9ine_ACRun into that when I play with friends who have the trails. Land and we have 6 people punching us to death. Nothing you can do to save yourself unless you land on a spitfire or therm. I've had fun running caustic with a pred I played few rounds with.. People would land on us thinking they'd punch us to death. Have fun with the gas!
When I'm having a good night I look for pred trails to land near. I want to fight them and see if I can kill them. - E9ine_AC6 years agoHero+@DarthValtrex Oh yea thats their thoughts too haha lets land on this guy see if we can kill him. Worse ones are playing with streamers them killing a team while im fighting that team comes into chat telling us we dog crap for 3 stacking cussing us out ect.
The life of a pred is hard we apparently are not allowed to play with friends without being accused and told we are 3 stacking losers making lobbies not fun for people. Yet if those people was killing a lobby their story would turn. - DarthValtrex6 years agoHero (Retired)@E9ine_AC Oh I have killed streamers and preds. Typically when I follow the area they land at. I just want to see how I stack up vs them. I really feel like the skill gap is not that huge, sometimes I win, sometimes I lose. It typically boils down to has the better gun, bigger mag, or makes the first mistake. It’s fairly rare to come across a player that kills me and I’m sitting there with a confused “what the heck just happened” look on my face. If it was a good fight, hard intense fight I DM them GG.
I do like preds/diamonds being the final squad. They are more likely to be down to box and understand why I’m throwing my stuff on the ground/teabagging and not shooting.
