The link is useful but it doesn't help a lot. If I wanted to report somebody abusing in-game voice chat there is no way for me to do this: the same for somebody teaming with enemies or if my random teammate doesn't respawn/revive me intentionally.

Instructions for reporting PS4 players are in that article. That's the only way to report abusive behavior currently.

Actually, the instructions for reporting on PS4 do NOT work.. There is NO button to report players on PS4. So what is the real way to report people or does your company just not care about the console player base?

I've run into so many blatant cheaters over the past year and a half, with video proof even, and there's no way to report them on PS4.. Regardless of what your wonderful pre-written (WRONG) article states.

Would love someone to chime in with actual instructions on how to report on PS4.

Are you not seeing the triangle with an exclamation mark in it as described by the article here?

That's correct.  The triangle with an exclamation mark has never been there, for me or anyone I've asked on PS4.  I have checked every season update, and it's never there..

The only icons that I have ever seen are the voice chat icon and ping icon for my squad.  Never the exclamation triangle.

Thanks for letting me know. After asking around, it seems there have been a few other reports of this. For now, you'll have to report people through the instructions here. Apologies for the trouble!

So, since I'm right about not having the option to properly report people on Apex PS4, my only option is to use a Contact Us form?  A form that will probably have zero to little impact on the events that actually happened? lol...

In other words, my best bet is to just stop playing and paying for games from EA since they can't even program a report function into them properly? Got it.  Thanks for the assistance!

Which is a shame since I've been playing Apex since the day it was surprise released back in February 2019..

That's not at all what I'm saying. There's an issue with reporting at the moment and hopefully, we'll have it resolved soon. This is working for the vast majority of the people playing, but for some reason, some of you are experiencing this. We are constantly looking at reports and taking action on accounts.

It is now November with a couple weeks into s7 and still no functional report button for ps4. You guys are just half-assing it by making it go to the sony report function which, wait for it, TELLS YOU TO USE THE INGAME REPORT FUNCTION! It's just an endless revolving door with now end in sight

It was working for a short time shortly after they implemented cross-platform. But of course now that S7 is out, it's broken again lol. What a joke.

Not working still. Noone goes to a webpage to report ppl. The ingame feature is not working at all! 

Here is the problem you can’t Report someone who is in the same console family as you I currently play apex on ps4 I can report and or block any Xbox player but can’t block EA account or report any PlayStation users. Also 

there is no way to mute incoming game text chat and many little kids who prob shouldn’t be playing

apex at 10 years old anyways use the text to voice to annoy other players after they have been downed with 0 damage worse yet this little kid was vulgar and all the sudden all kinds of hate speech and obscenity in front of my family and there was no way to mute this! I tried muting the player this did nothing as he was still allowed to hit the start button and have the text keyboard pop up and have the computer voice read what he wrote! You really need to implement The way for players to permanently disable this feature from players without a mic the worst thing in the world are these kids without Mics who say the most vulgar things and at the worst times mostly and they’re dead and you’re trying to survive a fight. With no way to block this feature these little Internet tough guys are being able to have their way with their squad mates and scream obscenities in a robotic voice all because EA refuses to give the individual players the option to block this feature to be honest just remove the feature all together if you don’t have a mic you still can ping but you don’t need to be able to text chat some thing and have a robot read it if not scrap the feature all together at least Let players turn off the incoming text to voice Because it’s being abused and used to annoy and harass other players

How has this still not been fixed? It hasn't worked since season 4?

Did you ever find a fix for this because when I use the triangle button, or I hold the right stick, to report someone, it just brings up their PS profile. That doesn’t solve anything. 

EA wont even take the time to fix other bugs or glitches in the game, no they would rather focus on adding more content to the game,... people only ever care about money and what suits them best to hell with us players 

Agreed, this completely UNPROFESSIONAL for them to be a MULTI BILLION dollar gaming supplier, at this point (season 10), you should very well have under control cheaters, how to report cheaters and protecting the ppl whom actually spend hard earned money paying for the fun of an entertainment and home. Or is your actual goal to annoy ppl, causing more anger and strife in the world!!!???

It's been over a year and ps4 players can't report other ps4 players. The report button just takes me to their profile.

You guys are actually useless basically promoting people to cheat and be hateful as you don't stop it there is litrally a comment explaining racism in the game and they can't report it this post was over a year ago you should be ashamed.

I can’t either. That’s a real problem not to be able to report anyone in this game on PS4. 

Such a shame and lack of interest for us players. It’s like these eternal bugs (no-reg etc….), like the trash basic trio-mode can be with no time penalty, and many other points that reveal how little EA management care about quality. 
Let’s not even talk about servers (remember the championship. Lol)

Update October 14th 2021 reporting for ps4 still broken. I have had it work twice since they released the feature other then that the report/exclamation mark just take me to the player profile and only gives the option to block not do anything else.
