As of this morning (about 8:30 AM EST), I appear to have been unbanned, no emails from EA yet and my ban history still says there's an active ban but I am able to queue into games without getting the "Banned: banned" message anymore, may be worth checking for others that had this issue?
@blinxington I'm also able to play again and also have no email confirmation or update on the ban history page.
Considering there's been no communication from an EA representative (or Respawn) it makes me wonder if they have temporarily disabled the enforcement of the bans while they work on a real fix. That would be concerning as there's a risk we'd just get banned again.
Hopefully someone from EA/Respawn can join the thread and provide some clarification! 🙂 @EA_David

Same thing as others here: I am able to join firing range, but it is still showing in ban history.
Same over here played with my friends about 7 or 8 rounds of apex. Didn't counter any ban messages or kicks.
I am also able to queue into the range again!
Ban history still shows on my account, and EA continues to shut me down every time I dispute it.
They also still have yet to put out a formal statement, offer compensation for this, or even acknowledge the fact that it is occurring in the first place. That is not good PR for the company.
@FAT9LI agree it is poor that there's been extremely minimal communication here.
Good news, though! Supposedly one of the moderators of the Apex Legends subreddit got in contact with the right people/person and has got the bans reversed and the issue has been fixed!

It is disappointing, though, that I had to get this information from a third-party... The lack of communication doesn't instill a lot of confidence in me for any future issues. A formal statement and compensation for the time & effort wasted for loyal, paying customers and players would be appreciated.
I'm also unbanned apparently. I was able to get in Firing range, no emails from EA, there's still active ban on my ban history.
I really hope there will be official statement about this at least.
Btw, I kinda wanted that Wattson skin from the event but it ended while I'm banned...
I know that easy anti cheat will ban you for having file names like "hack" and "cheat" in them. I am at university and i had courses that dealt with malware forensics and the documents mentioned those key words. Also i installed elden ring and mods for morrowind that had cfg files like cheat = 0 or whatever for the given mod. Am i being banned because of this?

@EA_David please man i feel like im being left in the dust i have been banned for over a month now for cheating but i have not and never will cheat. I am giving up hope for my account being ever restored i recently reinstalled in hopes maybe i would get unbanned but nothing.. please can you look further into my account i am still banned I love this game i am giving up hope to ever play this game again.
@ADAMPOKE111So.... I am still banned, and my only guess is that i probably need to wait in some kind of queue to get ban removed. It seems that I got banned later than most people here, but around at the same time. I am still hoping that the ban gets reversed because I really want that R9 skin from the store ;D
Edit: Can people that got bans reversed tell me the time that they got banned? And I'd like to know if I'm not the only one that didn't get ban reversed.
