It has nothing to do with your system its games fault, after one game it forces my 1 core to work on 100% it gets stuck, even after I turn off game and theres no proccess in task manager core still works 100% and steam thinks that game is still running. My 3 friends with different CPU's and systems in general has same issue. Please fix as game is unplayable coz of this.
Having this issue the last few days, when playing apex my System Process will have high CPU usage and will max out one thread causing CPU to get hotter, The issue only happens when playing Apex and when quitting the issue persists and I have to reboot PC to remedy.

Exact same behaviour on my system, I have a 5800x for a cpu but it is also the second thread that is stuck at 100% and my CPU temp skyrockets as well.
Same issue with not being able to kill the apex process either.
It is ridicilious,
but it is happening on other games that use Easy anti cheat, like Paladins and Lost Ark (same issues and symptoms those game tasks can't be closed and second thread stuck at 100%)
I really hope it is fixed soon!
