I only linked my Steam account to my only EA account, I did not unlink the Steam account, it says i can't unlink it until July 2024.
After signing in to the EA account with my steam credentials, it only kept my EA account progression even though my Steam progression was much higher.

You've linked the Steam account to its current EA account, but it was linked to another EA account prior to this. Progress is stored at the EA account level, rather than individual platforms like Steam.
You would have linked it to an EA account the first time any EA game was launched from that Steam account, though it likely wouldn't have prompted you to sign back in since that point until this most recent situation. It sounds like at that point it was then linked to this account instead of the one that already had the progress.
You're able to unlink/re-link an account once every 6-months, which is why you're seeing that timer now as it was just re-linked last week.
Our support team should be able to help get the Steam account re-linked to its original EA account ahead of that timer, though it won't be possible to combine the progression from two separate EA accounts.
Thanks - I spoke with a support team member. They said the timer could potentially be moved up, but didn't provide when. Hopefully soon, since all the progression i make on Apex now will be for nothing since it will get erased once my Steam account is restored. I'd rather have the Steam since i spent more money on that account.
Hi @EA_Mako - After several attempts, I am still not able to unlink my steam account until 7/16/2024. Most recently i was told I am eligible to unlink and i should wait for it to be available shortly, but that is not what i see on my end. Do you have any suggestions? Thanks

If our support team was not able to help get that re-linked, I'm afraid you would need to wait for the timer itself.
We would not be able to make any changes here on the forums, sorry.
The timer would prevent you from making the change on your end until the date specified, so the only option aside from that would be speaking with support to see if they're able to assist otherwise.
