Lost Rivals Progress and Disconnecting Penalties

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? No idea. It's complicated.
What happens when the bug occurs? So, there's 2 things. After the recent upgrades to thunderstruck players, i've seen a lot of people with Frenkie De Jong complain about the game disconnecting at some point during their match after the update. The same things happens to me, and even when i'm winning and get disconnected, when I reconnect back, the games gets recorded as a loss to me even though I was winning. On a side note, I also experience where my opponents quit in the middle of a match where it's a tie game and i'm putting on pressure, and it gets recorded as a draw; why isn't the player disconnecting getting a penalty for leaving the game?
What should be happening instead? There should not be any network disconnection and my progress status shouldn't be recording those instances as losses.
I've had many occasions where progress penalties don't make sense. Also, the clip I have won't upload for whatever reason.
