Sims 3 won't install through Origin. This is happening since I downloaded a "super patch"

I had this problem with AVG, which didn't let me play the game once I  download Generations EP and Pets EP.  I think I solved it by buying a new antivirus, which asks me which program will have full access or no access at all.  The thing is, that I can't say if it is going to work because my base game won't install!

I did install the base game once, and I also installed World Adventures EP and it worked great (although with the message "unable to connect to the EA download manager").  I've had problems with the other EP, so I explored some forums and stumbled upon a link to download the "super patch" for sims.  I downloaded it and installed it into my game and it boost my version to 1.50 something..But the Welcome page didn't open so I decided to delete it since I couldn't find it in the uninstall-a-program list.  I deleted it and emptied my recycle bin to make sure.  The launcher had the same problem even with the super patch gone.  Out of frustration because of the problem I mentioned earlier and the problem with the EP, I uninstalled all the games, I uninstalled Origin and I deleted anything that had to do with Sims 3, including leftover folders and files (my computer leaves them behind every time I uninstall a program).

The thing is that, since then, I've been re-downloading Origin, re-downloading the base game of Sims 3...but the game doesn't even install!

I defragmented my PC (I have a Windows 7 Asus laptop), I searched for leftover folders and files and deleted them...but nothing.  The game downloads correctly (to my knowledge) and, when it is time to install, a window tries to pop up (installwizard or something) but it disappears and the game goes back to the "install" option.  I've tried everything!  I'm pissed off!

Right now, I opened a new account with administrator privileges, and Origin is currently installed with the downloaded game...but I'm having the same problem.  PLEASE HELP!  I've been having this problem for a month or two since my other problem!

Additional Information:

1- Everything, including Origin, Origin games and Electronic Arts files are downloaded directly to my OS ( C: ) Hard Disk Drive, inside a folder named Program files (x86).  I don't know if that is the problem, maybe because it is too far?  I tried moving everything to my documents on my desktop, but I had to re-download sims and Origin was having problems, so I decided to let it be.

2- I tried manually installing the game, but it took me to an icon with .exe, but it was only that, an icon.

Please help!  My friend bought almost every EP in Sims 3, and I have the money to do so.  And I WANT to buy them all.  But I'm disappointed because there is no solution to my problem, and I've tried everything from the forums, including doing something in the Command Prompt.  I've wanted to change computers, or format this one, but I have Panda antivirus, the pro version, and I'm using one of the installs in the pack, I don't want to waste another install if this doesn't work.

I don't know if I should blame the super patch, but this began happening since then, because I managed to play the game before.  I can't find the super patch and I don't know if it is under a different name in the uninstall list.

P.S. I got this superpatch from the Sims3 webpage's forum (a guy was offering it - I don't recall his username, but he had a picture of an astronaut sim)

Solutions, please!

Thank You,

John Alexis
