Re: The Sims 4 Get to Work
@SarahJane810, its been awhile since I've interrogated someone in my game 🤔 , but if I remember correctly, it all depends on getting them to want to spill information, and that depends on what you do during your interrogation, I think I remember a meter of sorts telling you if you've hit the "sweet spot" with the suspect. You can adjust what you do in response to that meter... if something is not working, then try another tactic!
I will test this in the next day or two to make sure that I have given you correct information, and to make sure I didn't leave anything out! 🤨 But in the meantime, you can try to adjust your interrogation actions to make the suspect more likely to cooperate. 😉
Please feel free to update us! 😇
Update: I double checked one of my games where I have a Sim who is a police detective, and yes, you have the option of 3 game related tactics to choose when interrogating a suspect: Good Cop, Bad Cop, & Evidence. The first two are more likely to play on the suspects feelings in either a positive or negative way (respectively). The last one is "just the facts". 😉 This can still get the suspect to confess. I have good luck buttering them up and then hitting them with the facts, but this might depend on the personality or the suspect or the relationship you have with them (I'm not really sure). The orange meter at the top center of the screen will tell you if you are getting close to getting a confession! 😇 Ironnically, by being the Good Cop, I've had my Sims become friends in several cases with suspects that they arrest and lock up! 🤨😃 But sometimes I use Bad Cop just because it is funny to intimidate the suspect with spiders! 😃👿:eahigh_file:
