Npc won’t die

I trapped an NPC on my lot by putting him in a small room without a door and it’s been five days and he hasn’t died of starvation or anything he just keeps passing out, and smelled bad. I put in a fireplace and rugs and the fire hasn’t started in five days as well.

Update: The game randomly froze and I had to restart my entire computer. Lost 2 hours of real time and gameplay.

The game makes sure that NPC's don't die from starvation So you can have this NPC around for a long long time.

That really sucks NPC Sims used to be able to starve to death if you locked them in a room after you got to visit with them and talk with them in a room but I guess they got rid of that so I'll just have to use my other methods of getting rid of Sims that have wronged me

@Cole4999 I delete them in Other Households if they are ther

I've rage deleted a few, like the ones who run the telemarketing scams (sorry Bess Sterling you had to go). I also had a series of gym trainers invading a lot I edited to change from a gym to a residential lot. They kept invading and doing push ups and sit ups in the house and raiding the fridge... delete... delete.

I was just talking about this recently but in Sims Bustin Out I used to lock them in a room with a rocket gnome but you can't do that in Sims 4. I've had a camp fire on a deserted island work once though. I also took one mountain climbing with no training.

Edit: just noticed this is an old post and exceeds the 2 year recommended time limit so you may be asked to start a new thread for your issue to discuss it further if you need to by selecting New Topic, we'll be happy to help.
