I recently had to reset my Sims 4 folder. I was having an odd glitch and forums suggested resetting the Sims 4 folder and regenerating a new one as a means of correcting it. Unfortunately, after having done so the problem didn't fix itself and on top of that all the login reward items are now gone. Kind of disappointing as I made a point of making sure to login to my game consistently while this event was taking place so that I could have access to these items and now they're lost to me.

@BK747 Unfortunately, this is by design ... supposedly, as the team has been made well aware of this issue. The information that unlocks the login rewards in your game was contained in a single text document, which was wiped clean when you reset your folder.
If you have the ability to restore a backup of your files through your computer, you can try that and find the "UserSettings.ini" file. You'd want to copy that information over to restore the rewards. If you don't know what exactly you're looking for, you can google the file name mentioned and look for results on something like tumblr or twitter for examples.

saying this 'repeat' is/was suppose to happen in Aug and there are 11 days left, i still have yet seen an update to include the Freezer Bunny on homepage. how long was this 2nd chance suppose to last, and why hasn't it been shown for everyone?

I didn't know this. Before playing the last expansion, I deleted everything. I thought the unlocks would be tied to my account. I guess I've lost them forever as well.
