I can't change my Player Bio in the Sims 4 Gallery

I have been playing the Sims 4 since it was released with no mods or custom content ever. Just recently I decided to upload some stuff onto my gallery for the first time ever so I quickly added a player bio. It's been a few weeks and I decided to update my bio a little more but every time I change it, the moment I exit the gallery it reverts back to the original bio.

After I change the bio and hit enter I can click around the gallery for a while and go back to my profile to see my new bio just fine. But the moment I exit the gallery and go back into the game, when I click the gallery again, the old bio re-appears. I have even tried exiting the gallery and immediately saving and quitting the game but when I reload it, the old bio is still there.

Any idea how I can get my new player bio on my gallery account to stick?
