Re: sims 4 lingo

Hi @nadifb

moved your post to game info.

CAS means Create-A-Sim .. it's where you land in the beginning to modify and adjust your Sims.

Mods are third party content that change the behavior of the game that you can download from various sites. There's custom content (=CC) which is hair, new clothing, objects and that sort of stuff and then there are mods that change the game itself. Many people use the term mods for both cc and actual gameplay mods though so you'll see both.

    HI @nadifb

yeah, you can't add mods/cc to consoles. They're for PC/Mac only, unfortunately.

Townies are Maxis generates Sims who you see all around town. They are not Sims you made or downloaded. Many have jobs and are called NPCs (Non Played Characters) they work as restaurant staff, bar tenders, maids, nannies, etc.

There are also cheats. Even though this is easy to figure out what it means, I thought you might appreciate more information on them. Here is a good guide for them, http://www.carls-sims-4-guide.com/cheats.php. By the way Carl’s Sims is a great guide for the game in general. It is very in depth and easy to understand.
