@psusenas Some of the skills can't be learned all the way by just reading a book.

They won't go past a certain level. You need to actually do it to get the rest.

Is rock climbing the only skill you have issues with ?

Hi @crinrict ,
I bet you're right. Because I have the same problem with every skill my sim is in rank 9. It doesn't happen when his rank is 8 or less.
I think I remember that I was able to learn from books at level 9 before the patches; but, anyway, I realize it's not a bug.
