Re: How I reset sims to use game packs

@baconsmshe37 Have you exited the game then exited Origin? After doing this for both your re-entering your game should definitely be considered a restart. When you go back into the game the get Famous Pack should have loaded up, and you should see on your main menu ( where all of the expansions/packs are listed - before you enter a saved/specific game save), that Get Famous is in color in the list rather than 'greyed out' like the expansions/packs you do not own. You will also see that once you enter your game the world/town 'De Sol Valley' will be no longer be b&w but will be opened to enter and in color.

@4qse47xz8b6kYou may want to try a game repair (which will check each pack and should repair any pack that you own that has not downloaded completely). Close the game, open Origin and do the game repair, then after it has completed repairing and checking all packs (you can see progress in then lower left of the screen), then restart the game:
How to run a game repair:
    • Open Origin, click ‘Game Library’ then right-click Sims 4 > Repair Game
    • Let it run until it has completed all repairs. It will do the base game first, then run through each of your DLCs (Expansion Packs, Game Packs, Stuff Packs and Kits).
