Plasma Bat Attack in Strangerville

What expansions, game packs, and stuff packs do you have installed? All but Star Wars one.
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Not entirely sure as it's only happened once but I was living in Strangerville (empty lot, rags to riches play) when I got attacked by a swarm of plasma bats on my home lot. I've never been to the jungle or anywhere outside of Strangerville for that matter.
What happens when the bug occurs? Sim gets attacked by plasma bats as if they were in the jungle.
What do you expect to see? No plasma bats outside of the jungle.
Have you installed any customization with the game, e.g. Custom Content or Mods? Never used.
Did this issue appear after a specific patch or change you made to your system? Neutral/Not Sure
This is the weirdest thing any help figuring it out is much appreciated.
Have you added the “creepy crawlies” lot trait to the lot?
