@e12na   Hello again!  A friend shared an alternative to cheats for the fame points and I thought I'd share it.  If you allow your sim to lose fame (i.e. don't let your sim perform fame tasks for a while and they will lose a star), they do not lose any fame points.  After downgrading a level, choose fame tasks again and when your sim regains the fame level, they will get more points.  This only works if the sim has not completed the World Famous Celebrity aspiration though. (Edited to say I forgot to mention that if a sim completes the Celebrity aspiration, they get the Unstoppable Fame reward which means they won't lose fame, so be sure to get all the fame points you want before completing that aspiration.)  One thing to note is that it can take a while for the fame to drop a level and then to build it back to the next level again.  As I told my friend, I don't have the patience for that.  lol  However, it's a nice workaround if you (or anyone else who might find this thread) would prefer not to use a cheat.
