Re: Best mods for Sims AI and realism

I create Sim, create house, furnish house, put on full autonomy, they take care of themselves based on the traits and goals I give them when I create them.  They create their own love interests and friends, they find a job by themselves, they take care of all their needs, and I just watch.  I create shops, apartments, houses, restaurants, create more Sims and just watch them grow.  Basically, make a city of Sims and watch them live their lives without having to get involved at all.

@SuperNTGI believe there are some mods out there that could help you get closer to that style of gameplay but I am not sure if anything is out there that will make it exactly how you are wanting. I am not sure if there is anything that will have them get a job on their own without it being a randomized job that you still had to click a button and intervene in order for it to happen (and it wouldnt be based on their personality or anything, but truly random). However there are mods that increase the realism and autonomy in other ways: for example there are mods that increase the realism of who they choose as friends and lovers, and mods that let you get detailed with settings of your sim's personality preferences and attraction to allow your sim to choose a romantic partner on their own based on their personality. However I am not sure if there is a mod out there that would have them choose to, for example, get married on their own, but the game already has a chance of producing a dialogue box of a sim asking your sim if they will be their bf/gf/nbf without you having to initiate that, but you still have to select the response (yes/no pretty much). I will look into this for you tomorrow, and provide better advice on what mods could help, as im just browsing the forums before going to sleep atm. But wanted to give you a heads up that i am not sure if everything you are requesting is available or even possible. But at least some aspects of it could bring it closer to that, i do know that for sure. Ive been using mods in the sims since 2003 but i am not a modder, just someone who reads what the modders talk about so have some basic understanding of how it works.
