I am actually curious for real: When you play ranked premade duo with a random teammate and your team dies, you will OFC start the very standard premade duo flaming of the random. But when you see that the random got 3x your damage dealt and 8x your premade friends damage dealt and you still go on how useless the random solo Q player was and how you want him to get cancer and family members to die etc etc, what goes through your mind? I mean, your premade friend sits there and EVERYONE with a brain can see that HE was the most useless in the team , and probably also directly the reason why your team got eliminated, followed by you =) I dont say it matters if you all have dmg dealt in the same ballpark but Ive come out of countless of games where I have like 2000-3000 dmg dealt and the premade duo 200-1000 and they still flame haha. I guess its a way to vent rage in general and also keep up the good relationship with the premade friend or something. Another thing that Ive noticed is that its usually just ONE of the premade duo who rages. In most cases, the other is quiet or just leaves the game OR even apologizes haha.

@DeepBeats Yeah I usually play with team speak channel off since I honestly think verbal communication in fights does actually more harm than good between randoms. Verbal communication is good when you are premades and know each other and especially if you have one designated shotcaller. But with randoms, one match is too short to even learn who's voice belong to who so when someone scream "behind ME", its more confusing than helpful.But the reason I posted this post was because I, for funsies, turned it on and I just say WOW. Getting flamed by a premade duo 90% of your matches seems quite on point =)And just like you said it; these premade duo never care the slightest what you wanna do. They just do whatever they want, whenever they want and they never say anything until they die in a 2v3 fight they chose to engage in. And then the flaming begins =)I actually tell them in the beginning of the match, purposely passive aggressively, something like "Not a big fan of running after a premade duo that doesnt even ping where they are going, just so you know". And when they answer; always something toxic, I answer "Just dont blame me if you die 2v3".@Asmodeus566 I dont imply anything here because I dont know how you and your premades actually treat your randoms. So I am just speaking hypothetically now but I wonder if your definition of your random "playing as a team" is totally fair or is it more "playing according to our premade duo"? Do you REALLY and truthfully treat your solo Q random exactly as you would your premade IRL friend? Most likely not if we are being totally honest here. And as the solo Q, you pick up on those small things. Even if its not a huge unfairness you do, these small things add up after 50 games of the same treatment, over and over again.The most common of such things premade duos almost always do is to always choose when and where the team should go. In best case they just ping a direction of a new area and just runs, but in worse case, they dont even ping. Even if the solo Q is furthest away from there at your current location, they just run. and its not fun to always run after a duo to always be last one there and get whatever loot they dont want. But the list of these "small but annoying things" is ofc much longer.

@Balladalidila You wont get any logical reply from these people. Said it many times, playing with duos is the most toxic thing you can get in the game most of the time. I have had, just like you, people * talking to me like if they were pros just to end up in the squad death screen and realize that i have done 3x - 4x their dmg in game. And then you have those that will push a team leaving you 200mtrs behind just to die and start again the * talking bout why you werent there. Worst part is that this happens 90% in ranked so it ruins most of my matches and makes me play pubs a lot more.

@DeepBeats I think @Midnight9746 is actually nailing the main problem here which is that the REAL problem, or the source of the problem, is smurfing and especially in premade duos. Because if there were NO smurfs att all, i.e every player, regardless of rank, played at their peak rank, then everyone would do everything possible to play as well and win as much RPs as possible, i.e lose as little RPs as possible too. This is how I feel when I try to grind to master solo Q in diamond3 lobbies which makes me MUCH more inclined to adjust to my teammates. And actually, most premade duos and solos in diamond3+ are more mindful of me as well, simply because more players in that rank play more seriously and know that they need all team members to work well to have a chance to win RPs.But these incentives to play seriously dont exist for smurfs. They play for fun and to stomp, not to gain RPs as effectively as possible and this makes them care nothing for their random 3rd player.

People try to say smurphing and things like toxicity isn't a problem or to just ignore them, but its not that avoidable.

I never do that and neither do my friends.
However I can say that there are countless times that our random does not even try to play as a team member and they try to push everything all on their own. If they get that 1k dmg and 5+ kills but cost us the match because they did not play as a team player, does that make them good? no it does not it makes them selfish.
Think of what could have been accomplished if they had played with the team?
Either way there is no reason to flame the random or the duo IMHO. Everyone has different play styles and if you want to win everyone has to adjust their play to who they are playing with for the best results.

@Balladalidila Sadly theres no reasoning with these people and theres nothing we can do to avoid the flaming. I have coms open just in case i get some random that uses it but lately i've been wondering if it will be better to just mute them all.

Thats another thing bout duos, they dont use the mic until they feel the urge to take on other people. Not to comunicate something constructive, that would be to much but just to rage on the third one for no reason at all.

@Balladalidila Part of it is just high ranked player doing 99.9% of the work, while their level 20-50 teammate tags along for a boost through the ranks. Not to mention that people would get crazy stats on an account, like the 20 kill bomb, 4k damage, etc. and then turn around and sell the account, especially if they drew an heirloom.

As a permade duo in trios whether ranked or pubs my friend and I have our in game mics on so that if the random wants to communicate they can. If they are rude to me us I will of course mute them and if it is really bad I will report them.
We do strive to treat them the same as we would treat any other player and use our pings/mics to communicate what we want to do and will listen to their comms/pings as well. If they have a better idea we will follow them. a lot of times we let the random decide the pace of the game etc because it is easier for us to follow them then them us.
It all comes down to trying to understand each other and although not 100% perfect we strive to treat them the same as we would treat each other. The big caveat though is that they also have to strive to be a part of a team as well.
With all that in mind my friends and I might just fall into a minority in how we approach playing with randoms and that is sad because more players that would try to do as we do would possibly find a bit more success and enjoyment of the game if they did so. However I think the majority of Randoms and or Dou Premade's do not try to do this because of to many bad experiences.
The number one thing I can say here in my approach to playing with randoms or being the random myself is just like in real life, treat others like you would like to be treated, there is no I in team.
