Ballistic Changes

I decided to play Ballistic and he feels very underwhelming to play. I think he could use some touch ups. Someone had suggestion some changes that I thought were good:

Proposed Ballistic buffs:

  • Sling-shot: Sling weapon's tier will upgrade to match EVO level, to Level 2 and Level 3. Perk option removed, integrated into base kit.
  • Lasting Bullet: Smart Bullet lifetime tripled. (3 sec → 9 sec). Reduced lifetime duration to double (6 sec). Perk option removed, integrated into base kit.
  • New Additional passive benefit: Base weapon swap speed for all weapons increased by 15% (will stack with stock attachment benefit).

Proposed perk rework:

  • Level 2 perks:
    • Speedy Whistler: Receive a 3-second speed boost when Whistler hits an enemy. Perk Moved to level 2 and added one additional second to speed boost.
    • (NEW) Tempest Sweep: ultimate activation will reveal all enemies on the minimap within minimap range for you and your teammates. Each knock will grant an additional minimap sweep for the remainder of ultimate duration.
  • Level 3 perks:
    • Extra Bullet: +1 Whistler charge. (unchanged).
    • (NEW) Deep Mags: Ultimate Tempest will increase current magazine size by 10% for you and 20% for your teammates for duration of ultimate.

    Agree with @Midnight9746, but the Deep Mags should do equivalent for allies and self, or better self than allies, not better allies over self. It's Ballistic's Ult after all.

    However, I doubt they'd ever do Deep Mags.
    So, agreeing with @Midnight9746, TS Level 2 and DM level 1, but DM changed to this:
    Jammer Rounds - reduces whistler damage severely and causes it to jam the target's active or last equipped weapon for 8-15 seconds. Double hit (Requires Extra Bullet) causes target's other gun to also get jammed. (Might be able to jam ability guns, like Vantage or Sheila (Rampart), those two and Ballistic would therefore have an out against double jammed weapons as they have a third.)
  • Playing Ballistic some more, I feel like the Smart Bullet doesn't feel that impactful beyond some cases. I think Ballistic could use more utility. My suggestion would be to give a silence to the Smart bullet instead of jamming someone's gun. This would allow Ballistic to have more of an edge against opponents.

    @Midnight9746He is an assault legend and not a recon legend, why would he have the sweep ? doesnt allign with his role

    ballistic would never use deep pockets as a perk, its worthless because you reload faster than anyone else could switch weapons or reload. So there is not really a point.

    If you wanna give him anything wich i dont even think he really needs then give his ult a like 15% movespeed or increased firerate. Its a combat ultimate and not a recon ultimate.

    But i dont think a ballistic meta would be very healthy for the game, the whistler is a quite toxic mechanic for a shooter and it would be pure pain if every team had ballistics shooting 2 charges every fight.

    TLDR he has alrdy an incredible kit, it just doesnt fit the meta.

    @BallisticMVP Well, some legends do have perks from other classes, such as Wattson having the Support perk that gives faster revives and health regeneration, Vantage having the Controller perk to use Ring Consoles, and Pathfinder can choose either using a Survey Beacon, (Recon) or a Ring Console, (Controller).
