Ban in apex = Whole account banned

Is this serious, that EA is banning the whole account after being suspended in one of their games?
I've been not cheting, only said "I always hated russians" and got pernamently banned for that.

I have filled 3 cases on their support page and they'r still thinking that whole acc ban is a good punish for that.

For serious? I have all Battlefields with all dlc's in here, and the whole account is getting shut down as a punishment for one NON-VERBAL OR TOXIC sentence?

  • @C0pper_x EA is very strict on their play nice policy. When a ban happens in 1 game it tends to happen for all games connected to the account. With that being said this is not something the forums is capable of assisting with or even looking into the matter. This is only something the Terms of Service teams can access. If you have filled appeals and they have stated the ban will remain in place then sadly it will remain banned.

  • @E9ine_AC With all my respect, i dont care about getting banned in Apex.
My point is, that my whole account should not be banned.
I've been playing Battlefield 4 for 4 years straight and did not get punished.
My positive gameplay in Apex is big, ive been reciving w lot emails about people being banned after my report.

    Hey @C0pper_x,

The Terms of Service apply to the entire EA Account, so violations of that ToS can indeed result in action being taken against the account as well.

If you disagree with an action that was taken, you'll need to appeal this with our Terms of Service team. That is not something we'll be able to review or change at all on the forums.

While they may use templates in certain situations to make sure the information being provided is consistent, appeals are reviewed by actual members of the ToS team.

If they've decided not to remove an action on the account that's not something we'll be able to change either, sorry.
  • I seriously dont know how EA is getting away with that without lawsuit. One thing is banning you from services that you broke toses, and another thing is taking products you legally bought for minor offense. When steam bans you, they bans you from internet features in games, they dont take all game you legally bought

  • @Srksii Yea, that's a magic trick for me as well.
Banning from one game, okay. Everyone can understand that, but banning the whole account cuz of stupid thinking that "this is how it should be" is dumber than it seems to be.
I cant understand, how they are ruinning their public opinion and players cause of trying to be the good one, and actually being the weird and bad one

Ultimately, this comes down to the fact that by creating an EA Account, you agree to follow the Terms of Service.

If those Terms of Service are repeatedly violated, one of the possible outcomes is a ban on the account that has breached those terms.

That's not something we're able to review on the forums, so please feel free to create an appeal if you'd like that looked into further, thanks.
