Deep explanation on why Revenant is useless and how to fix him

Many people keep telling me that he is fine when he is really not. His abilities are lacking a lot of effectiveness and creativity and most importantly they are not in sequence with each other, For example you have Bangalore who is an excellent character for escaping, All of her abilities work with each other. Now I'm gonna start with why Revenant abilities are useless and giving suggestions on how to improve them:

Passive: his climbing height and speed are just not enough and the slow down when he reaches his limit is like a cheery on top, I can't remember a single situation where it helped me. Most of the time you try to use it for escaping but it doesn't work because you don't climb fast enough and the slowdown will make you an easy target, Also in most situations your enemies can also reach the place you climbed to.

How to fix it?

Simply make his climb faster and higher and remove the slowdown, This way he can truly use it to escape, flank or push an enemy. Another thing I was thinking about is to make the ability more creative by giving him the ability to stuck to walls and climb building roofs.

Tactical: His tactical misses half of the time and it's not that effective unless you already have an upper hand anyway. They tried to make it effective by giving it two charges and make it lasts a little bit longer and the main point was to make Revenant able to use it as an area denial ability, Most of the time you try to use it to deny an entrance when you are low on health but your enemies would pass through it like if it was nothing, Also the ability to deny an area doesn't fit him and it should be limited to trapping character like Caustic and Wattson. It doesn't make sense for him and it also doesn't contribute to what he is supposed to do.

How to fix it?

Make it highlights enemies who are effected by it, This way enemies who are effected by it suffer from being silenced and revealed to your whole team which would also make it easier to focus on the silenced target. If that is too op then give it only one charge and remove the damage.

Ultimate: This is where the big flaw is, Not only it lacks a lot of creativity (It Litteraly just change your model and teleport you back to it when you run out of health), But it's also very useless. You wait 4 minutes for it to recharge just so you can push an enemy and when you run out of health, you teleport back to it with only 50HP and by the time you healed and return to the push your enemy have already healed back to full. Moreover it can put you in a much bigger disvantage than its whole advantage and the area limit just make it much more useless.

How to fix it?

Once legends activate the death totem, They become like the shadows in enter the Revenants quest and they would only have 50HP, Cant use their weapons or abilities. With the exception of Revenant himself who would start with full health and can use his weapons and abilities and you return to the totem with full health . This is so Revenant and his teammates can sneak up on the enemies, Deal their best damage and when they run out of health they can quickly return to the push with full health before the enemy healed back, I'm surprised that some people think this change would make the ultimate much more situational when it would only make it a lot more useful, You can also use it to escape, Quickly revive, Retrieve a banner or respawn a teammate or just reach any specific place on the map much more quicker. With that being said the range of the totem should be increased a lot and kills & downs while in shadow form should extend death protection timer and give you more health.
