I thought the Havoc was okay, but I started using it recently, and I am consistently cheesing my way through fights! I'm winning fights I shouldn't be winning! It does way too much damage for the number of shots it has! I got shot four times in the back earlier and turned on the guy using the havoc and still walked away, it's just way too strong! I feel like it's most recent buff was too much, but that's just my opinion.

@Robo_The_Man-Bot They did that and everyone hated it. Then they buffed it to 32 rounds, nerfed it back down to 24 and included extended mags... And then ripped out the mags and buffed them to 32 again.Seems nobody wants to use a high recoil gun with a delay before firing unless it has plenty of ammo.

Spoiler (Highlight to read) Havoc and l star are both great early to mid game guns because being kitted or unkitted makes little difference. However end game a fully kitted r301 or flatline would outperform a havoc. A fully kitted spitfire would outperform an l star.

@Robo_The_Man-Bot Did they buff it? I thought they removed energy mags and set the havoc at like a blue mag, which is kind of a nerf

@Robo_The_Man-Bot It’s a lot of damage, but you can beat it pretty easily. It is strong, but if they exploit the charge up time, they can beat it.

@Benchwarmerbrew Yeah, the mag size is a little much... They should either put extended energy mags in the game and nerf the starting mag size (to 20 shots, like literally every other AR in the game) or just give the Havoc 22-24 shots in the starting mag and call it even.

As I have said before, the Havoc is perfectly fine where it is. It is very difficult to control, the charge up time is honestly enough for you to be downed, or at the very least, you are hurting enough to where you absolutely MUST heal.
The mag size is good, any smaller and you're screwed. I really cannot see how you all think it needs a nerf. There are so many variables with this gun, recoil(both directions), charge up, etc. I have many times missed my shot because of that damned charge up.
Yes you can be good at it. I pre-shoot when going around corners, allows me to be ready if anyone is there. But in terms of OP? No way. Winning games you shouldn't? What does that even mean? The Flatline with purp mag is worse.

@SolitaryMassacre It's not difficult to control anymore, it used to be, but the recent buff made it super easy to control. Also, the only time I've ever found the Havoc to be a problem is in the early game when I have no shields, otherwise, you can't lose fights (if you're a half-way decent shot)! I mean, just recently I wiped a full, three-man squad with blue and white armor in a miraculous triple kill with one mag from the Havoc (I ran around a corner as they did and I just started hip-fire, albeit, they almost killed me, but I got all three of them, I also only had blue armor). And, as far as I could tell, they were all at full or close to full health (they all had full shields). Anyway, 32 starting ammo is too much, imo, and it's really, really easy to hit your targets with the Havoc (especially at mid-range, which is where, I think, it excells, but it'll get you outta any pinch).

@SolitaryMassacre Also, yeah, the Flatline with Purp. mag is worse, but the Flatline doesn't start with a purple mag, the Havoc does (I think it's actually 2 shots less than the original purple energy extended mag, but the difference is negligible).

@Sir_Named Not necessarily, I've had instances where I was shot first in the back and still managed to turn on the guy and almost insta-down him (it was like CoD ttk). The charge up time is really only a detriment if you have no armor. The only way you're winning a fight to a Havoc is if the player using the Havoc is a terrible shot, or you're at close range with a PK (or mid-range with a G7, which, I'll admit, definitely beats the Havoc at mid-range) and you don't panic and miss your shots (but let's be honest, you could miss four shots with the PK and still win that fight).

@Robo_The_Man-Bot The only buff it got was the horizontal sway buff. And the patch notes stated it wasn't buffed by a lot, and I agree. Everything you just explained to be was nothing but pure luck! You got lucky. I consider myself to be very good with the Havoc (and yet fail to hit my shots sometimes) and never had the capacity to take an entire squad at full health with shields, there just isn't enough rounds in the mag for it. 32 is the starting amount because there are no ext mags. It has a charge up delay that seriously is hard to handle. Again, you got lucky, if you and everyone else were going around and wiping squads one after another with the Havoc, then I would be a little concerned of its power. A lot of people get downed by this gun and I truly believe those who "hate" it are getting downed by a modder. Its so easy to mod on PC. On my PS4, I hardly ever see anyone use the Havoc, and this was back when TC was still in.
