Huge lag spikes/Game freezing for multiple seconds

I’ve played this game on the original Xbox 1 from initial release until now and in recent months I’ve noticed I get periodic lag spikes right when I am about to shoot my gun at an enemy. I sit around...

    @xoCRUZox 

    Possibly using alternate DNS servers could help. From the Xbox One home screen, go to Settings > Network > Advanced settings > DNS settings > Manual. (If Settings doesn't appear on the home screen, select My Games & Apps, then Settings). From there, enter the Primary DNS as "208.67.222.222" and the Secondary DNS as "208.67.220.220". @Dice_Silverstorm Yeah so far it seems better but in the back of my mind I was aware it could’ve been coincidence. Thanks for the info.

I'm glad to hear this is helping. It's a pretty common practice today as many have found using alternate DNS servers speeds up not only their day to day web browsing but gaming as well.
