I've got some feedback for you, Respawn:
Y'all shoulda done your due diligence and changed ALL of the iron sights to the ones that people liked.
It comes off as lazy that you are changing iron sights we bought with REAL MONEY and replacing them with sights we replaced for very good reasons.
Heck, I've seen devs on streams get asked about this over the years.
Do better.

The Flatline Skin which is subject to change has been in the game for Ten Seasons, 900 days or 2.8 Years into apex's Lifespan. And all of a sudden, it's an issue?
As a player, and owner of the Flatline skin(s) Heavy Metal & Heatsink, I could care less about the flatline skin iron sights being changed. The true problem is that the skins have been drawn & Approved by your own board of directors of the art department and published for THREE YEARS. and all of a sudden, it's a problem? There is no possible reason that EA thinks this is a good proposition for good game. For the better sake of its "Competitive integrity"
As a Battle Royale, the game is meant to be competitive. There are people who compete in the ALGS With and Without this skin, there are teams who have won the ALGS With and without this skin. So, I must ask, what is the real reason for the change?
if it's been a problem, Like Seer on release, it was changed that same week when it was too strong.
Iron sights do not make the player. Iron Sights give you no advantage. No matter what optic you throw on a normal flatline or heatsink and or Heavy Metal, they will all look the same.
If this nudge does nothing and these changes get approved and pushed to the live game. Players with and without the skin won't be happy. You're making the 0.01% of the people who are making complaints because a team they're going against has it. You have already stated that any past battle pass from Season 10 and prior. those skins will not be returning. Keeps the players who have been here since the early days something to show for. You have a weapon skin in VERY HIGH demand, just like Void walker, airship assassin for Wraith. Simply Make another skin similar without reactive. Not only do you Benefit in the aspect of business profits, but the players also get what they want. It's a Win-Win for everyone in this regard.
In Conclusion, changing something that has been in the game for almost Three Years because 1 or 2 people complained that they did not play your game when it was released, having this skin as it is all of a sudden being an issue is going to attract a lot of unwanted attention to the Community side of things.
Think Smarter about the integral game choices. Add to your game, don't take away.

You all know that if the sights as you all say are not the problem then why are you worried about the change in the design that puts everything on equal footing. The weapons still have the same basic design only the minimal advantage of a few have been changed.
Lots of crying here over spilt milk.
The change has happened so get over it.
It is just a game after all.

The change to the Iron sights on some of the skins was to eliminate an unforeseen advantage those skins gave and to put all the skins on the same balance level.
This change did not rob anyone of anything.
