May not amount to anything but some folks are calling this out in:

You all know that if the sights as you all say are not the problem then why are you worried about the change in the design that puts everything on equal footing. The weapons still have the same basic design only the minimal advantage of a few have been changed.
Lots of crying here over spilt milk.
The change has happened so get over it.
It is just a game after all.

Literally nobody complained that the one skin has better irons we just want all the skins to have better irons. Idk if it's a small thing that the game decides to rob you after the fact. How about one of you ea representatives just one time give feed back that isn't snarky and trying to make people feel bad because right now with all the responses I've seen from people with the ea badge i promise your better off saying nothing. You all are definitely making people leave the game and have helped no one

The change to the Iron sights on some of the skins was to eliminate an unforeseen advantage those skins gave and to put all the skins on the same balance level.
This change did not rob anyone of anything.
