I share a similar sentiment and I'll admit that I'm part of the problem but as it stands there isn't a reasonable way to find squads if you're asocial and isolate yourself from people. If there was a way to quickly add people you've played with or 'replay' after a match with them I wouldn't disconnect (because I'd be playing with people I feel would compliment my skills). I'm definitely not anywhere near the best, maybe only slightly above average and I understand this is a squad game but I have 200+ kills, 12 wins, 30+ top 3s, etc, so when I see a level 3 or level 7 I don't even want to bother going through the inevitable face-roll coming our way.
I also understand when someone with 500+ kills doesn't want to play with me. I don't take it as an insult, just move on to the next match. Trust that something will be implemented soon and have patience. For now you'll just have to deal with it or make a pre-made.
I'll take your post since it comes closest to my opinion but it's not directed at you, just general masses. Good post btw 😜 . Yes I know the feeling of the OP. We unfortunately all go through that unless buddies are on and playing with us. Otherwise it's randoms.
Now lemme be the first to say this and ppl will likely disagree, but you really don't need actual teamwork-through-Voice to play/win this game. That's taken by the fact that lots of ppl play with randoms without being in a party. Hell, you don't even need teamwork to win this game. BRs are basically luck meets skill. The luck aspect is getting geared up as good and fast as possible without being shot in the back. The skill part is surviving. I've won matches basically singlehandedly when my teammates died at the beginning or didn't contribute much. But more often than not, you need at least some kind of teamplay.
I just turned lvl 60 (yey me), but after lvl 24 or something (day 2/3) I just did the 'you lvl 1-5 I quit beforehand' because 95% of the time those ppl die right away. I'm not saying they're bad, but they just need to get to know the game and I don't wanna be dragged behind because they try to figure out what is what. I've died too many times because of that and I've also carried teammates too many times. We win a match for instance and you see me with 7+ kills/1K+ dmg, other teammate with 4+/600+ and last guy 0/40... that's just ridiculous.
But you can fix the disconnection thing. Either if you're high lvl and you don't mind playing with low lvles, display your lvl or some good badge. Usually they 'look up' to you and will follow you around. They'll follow your ping, land where you jump towards but hopefully if you ping an enemy thats FAR in the distance they do not open fire... that baloney is really irkfull. They know, that you know what you're doing. I have randomly become the jump master this way and carried alot of ppl.
Do really well and parties might even inv you for more matches. This way I've gotten a few ppl who inv me when they play the game.
But hopefully it'll get better soon tho...
