Doesn't sound reasonable. I love the gun myself and always go on the hunt to find one to ensures my team better chances at winning but without a doubt it needs a nerf considering one solid beam can knock your lvl 3 armor out and another will put you on your knees.
I've been shot at and been shooting at other with this weapon and it's like shooting holy beams at players without any consequence.

Yep it needs to be nerfed.
It is fun because it is SUPER easy to kill people with at any range. Frustrating though when half the people in the game are running it. It needs to be nerfed and need to have a reduction in availability for sure.
