"other people seem to forget that heat shields were removed, then end up running outside the ring trying to find the other teams that dropped outside of the zone or on the edge, than they get get mad at me that I wasn't following them"
The hardest thing you'll ever learn from this game is that you are not responsible for the weak and idiotic things that other players do. No matter how hard those players might try to make you feel responsible. You need, at all times, to make good decisions - in my world "good decisions" means playing for the endgame, and not for a kill, even an easy one. No, this won't make you popular with the average player. But use your mic, explain what you're doing, maybe even why, and speak with confidence. And don't go off on other people for doing things you know will get them killed. Be patient. That's all you can do until you start stacking with people you know and trust.
In the mean time, if you keep following dumb people to their doom then it's no longer on them. It's kinda on you. Sorry for the hard truth, but there it is.
