No More Apex Packs From Leveling up

This is an intended feature, as stated in the patch notes (s2-3 I think) when level cap was increased from 100-500. We have confirmation that levels beyond max are tracked, and that the next time they increase they will retroactively apply. It has also been confirmed that cap increase has been pushed back due to other events taking precedence. (New levels require badges and database changes, but art and dev hours are better spent elsewhere rn).

The reason for not giving packs now is probably so that when the level cap is increased, it is easier for the game to calculate your retroactive rewards.

I understand this is by design, I read those patch notes. I wrote this here because it causes a decrease in desire to play a game that I truly enjoy, there's no reason to keep playing if I am not earning anything besides 600 legend tokens. By the way I have 50,000 of those and there's not much use for them. This is a bug in my opinion and needs to be changed. I initially didn't see the issue with the level cap because I was under the naïve assumption that I would keep earning apex packs every five or so level ups. I understand the grim situation of becoming max level. Now there is no reward for reaching max level except for the level boarder. I guess my levels are retroactively given to me, but what about other rewards? 

So with the retroactive leveling up, will this also award players apex packs for those levels? I am technically level 515, so am I right to assume that I should be rewarded at least 2 apex packs once the level cap/prestige system gets implemented? I have now opened 300+ apex packs and cannot receive anymore so those heirlooms seem more like a pay reward than actually from playing. 

Intended feature. Do you realize that this is one of the very few free to play games that let you get cosmetics for free? Even the rarest ones (heirlooms)? So stop being so entitled

You know that there is a whole forum for feedback (https://answers.ea.com/t5/Feedback/ct-p/apex-legends-feedback-en). This is not a bug. If you want to leave a feedback then us appropriate forums and channels. This is not appropriate channel. And it is false that you can't earn stuff after reaching level 500. Since season 5 there is a quest where you can earn materials, packs, charms and at the end also epic weapon skin, per season there are usually two events with event rewards tracker with free rewards, also there is a battle pass where in the free tier you can earn packs, weapon skins and one legend skin. So wrong channel and all in all you are wrong in your argument. All the stuff you can buy is cosmetics only which doesn't alter gameplay in any way. I always thought people play this game because they like the gameplay and not because of the cosmetics. I like the cosmetics but they are just a bonus. I have all the heirlooms and pretty much all the skins (missing only skins from first collection event) and when I from time to time create a smurf I find out that it doesn't matter from performance and enjoyment standpoint what skins I'm using or using no skins at all. I still see that you feel entitled that Respawn should give you freebies and handouts just because you have financial difficulties. So you want to play game for free (which is perfectly fine) and also get free stuff (which you got and will get in the future - read the part about the free stuff you are getting regardless of your level) and still complaining. If this is not sens of entitlement then I really don't know what really is...

This is by design, not a bug. Therefore I moved the thread to the feedback section.

This is incorrect. The level cap was once increased from 100 to 500, and then and only then the levels were awarded with apex packs retroactively.

Right now, we have no information whatsoever if our level-ups after 500 are tracked. Neither do we know if we are rewarded packs for them at some point.

@NotSundanceBefore patronising him for giving his personal opinion/feedback which perhaps could have been written slightly differently to get his point across, at least try and understand it from his and a vast majority of others perspective which actually have a valid point.

It might be false that you can't earn free cosmetics after 500 but it's also true there isn't much progression to incentivise F2P, or paying players for that matter, to stay after reaching the level cap or max rank (excluding the poorly implemented ranked split to increase engagement) and why many get bored with nothing to work towards and only return for the following season or events with lacklustre rewards.

This is a reality that many have spoken about.

What Respawn should do is, they should add another way of getting heirloom shards, like when you reach three or four times the required crafting metals for a legendary skin you should be able to buy heirloom shards for 4,800
