Few players even know that it is there. Then it takes forever and puts you in a dangerous position. Compare that with any other legends passive, and it falls flat. I would suggest giving him additional mantle speed? Maybe jump height? How about zip line speed? Anyone else have some suggestions?
100% agree. Personally, I would change his passive to something entirely different, but if they want to keep it in, then they should let him get info on the next circle without need of visiting the beacons. Or get intel on multiple circles by only visiting one beacon. To balance it they could let the information only come in when the circle is closing, or have him not get intel on the last couple of circles... The beacons also need to be something that can be activated multiple times. This passive is so weak currently, it needs a buff to make him a more solid character.
How about the ability to booby trap zip lines? Only activates once, when an enemy gets on the line. Maybe causes damage while they are on the line? Or it electrifies the line for 5 seconds? Has a setup time on ziplines, but is automatically on any ziplines pathfinder shoots out with his ult?
I said this in a earlier post of mine too "Legend's Tier list". His kit is something different form other's, it is fun to use. I think he got a lot of utility and if you imagine a fighting ability on him as passive or something like that he will be in the position Bangalore is right now. So i'd make him reload 15% faster or something, nothing direct but his passive right now got alot of risk like you said and no benefit, because Apex is so fast paced, you ain't got time for this kind of passive.
