I wouldn't even call it "aim assist" but an aim slow down.Here's how it works:Player has sensitivity on controller set to 100 (using easy numbers here, all arbitrary)Player is aiming at an opponent (there is a box region where this kicks in, like aim assist)Now the player set a percentage (0 to 1) - For this example, we will use 0.4The 0.4 is multiplied to the controller sensitivity (in this example, 100), so 100 * 0.4 = 40.This 40 value, is now the new controller sensitivity - BUT only when aiming at an enemyI can add some more examples and graphs/figures/what have you if needed. But basically it is a user controlled percentage that slows down the sensitivity when aiming around/at an enemy, this will also remove the standard aim assist currently in play. I would absolutely love this to a million bazillion 🙂Thanks for reading! Let me know your thoughts and boost this up to see if EA will do it

@SolitaryMassacre This is already kinda how aim assist works in AL. As best as I can tell, AA works in [mostly] two parts: first, your turning extra yaw cuts out when you are aiming near an enemy, which effectively increases your sense. Second, a portion of the target's motion is blended with your own controller input, and there's some smoothing of excessive recoil relative to when you start firing. So, if you miss your target, you'll tend to "lock on" to the space next to it.To see this in action, join a buddy in the firing range and turn on friendly-fire. Dance around each other with Eva 8's without shooting, and you'll get a clearer idea of what AA is actually doing (even better, switch between console and PC AA settings).The need to lead your targets comes from the delay introduced by input smoothing and blending as it reacts to quick changes in direction. If AL uses predictive motion algorithm (which it probably does), this will also cause AA to slip and miss in some fast-moving situations.

@RevMainPls Have you tried playing without AA on console? It's a jittery, shaky mess. Consoles currently max out at 60fps, and tend to dip to 20-30fps. They just don't play smoothly enough to handle it.

Too many buttons to think about", so CLEARLY there is an advantage in accuracy to using K&M. As well as other advantages. Aim assist in my experiences has typically gotten in the way of things due to having to lead your shots, aim assist wants to keep my target over them, when I am trying to pull in front of them.All in all - I have been in a million conversations where people try to argue aim assist is "op" when in reality, it is not. I mean i can give ya a nearly endless list of pro´s calling aimassist out for beeing busted, but when Snipedown a competetive Controllerplayer that makes a living with it considers it unfair and broken then yea its time to realize that it actually is.
And he is not just A controllerplayer is he probably the by far most successful one with the biggest name

@SolitaryMassacre im going on 21k matches played I can see a huge difference in game-play compared to older seasons where cross-play was not a thing. I do not even care about the aim assist anymore. What I care about is how console users can shoot around corners when on our screens we are 100% clear from any shot. Let's not forget all the pros who have went hybrid or full on controller. This is for a reason and its not because they think the controller makes them look pretty. =P I just want to play with my platform of players. Controller on pc was not much of a concern for nearly most the population. Aim assist concerns came out as consoles flooded pc lobbies and they removed our opt out button.

@RevMainPls Logical arguments and true statements are what I use to judge whether someone is worth listening to. I value the opinion of PC players and Console players the same in this kind of debate and I give little extra value to the statements of pro players. The truth is the truth regardless of your skill level.
That said I don't disagree with your man's points much. Controllers have an advantage at close range and most of your direct fights will be mid/close range.
