- @MoNosDirtyGaming It is not just the r99 its every single gun in this game. Watch streamers watch people who down you they most of the time have zero recoil at all on any gun. Because they use logitech mouse with software to counter every single guns recoil for you so all you do is point and shoot and it never goes any where. This is my problem its not the ones who can actually control their recoil its the ones who show zero at all when there are no flaws being made in their aim. I do great in some games but i still miss. Dropping 10 kills or more is nothing for me but i effin miss because i get off my recoil pattern a tad. Mistakes are made but not by these logitech users...
- @E9ine_AC Yeah I feel you on that, see it myself sometimes, players being able to beam you across the map with 0 recoil, xim on console is a big issue also. Don't think we'll see a fix for it anytime soon though, sadly.
- @E9ine_AC I've lost brain cells trying to get across to stubborn people in forums about the gravity of the anti-recoil issue. It really astounds me how players either can't recognise it, refute it, or claim that the zero-recoil gameplay is down to skill and recoil control (humongous facepalm).
A good player is a good player, evident by his gameplay. But a cheater is even MORE evident, and it is INSTANTLY recognisable when someone is cheating compared to controlling recoil, EVERY TIME. I hate that this is still a constant debate. Gun recoil software yeah should be something really easy to fix with the Anti cheat as it will use the exact same input every time I'm the same as they should be able to detect teeming by using the player proximity settings if there are 6 players that are always in Close contact to each other and do not fight each other until the end of the game that should be enough for a ban the fact that they have not addressed these issues makes me think they're not being taken as seriously as they should be if they were about losing players cheetahs are a far bigger cause of people quitting the game itself would be healthier if they took Swift action against this
@Hilshire12I agree by the rules given to us this 100% violates their policy by altering the games mechanics with 3rd party software. Maybe our voices will be heard.

And you are not standing still and shooting at standing target, you are moving and your opponent is moving, and no matter how much of a pro player you are, and how good you are at controlling the recoil, you will still miss a lot of shots from a medium to long distance.
Yet there is somehow new players with rank less than 100, who just straight up beams you at any distance with a high recoil guns, which is obvious a cheat or macro/scripts.
You don`t need a brain to make it by yourself, you just type Apex Legends recoil macro/script and its all over the internet/youtube and they stated its totally undetected, because its interact with your mouse, not with the game itself.
This is totally unfair for fair players like me, you(i guess) and the op. I train my aim every single day for 2+ hours, and spending time at the firing range esp for recoil at different distance with different weapons, yet Respawn is allowing people to just use a macro/script/program/cheat and all its done.
And yeah i watch a lot of top streamers and its obvious who use and who are not. But they are also not stupid, and they know they are watching, and you know that you can just toggle on/off it, so whenver you decide to highlight it, here we go, and when its fishy to turn it off.
I'm sick of seeing every game 5/2 pl*yer aim assist. This game is unbalanced.

come onnnnn, if we arnt gonna get a solution to this problem can we at least can a reply on why this problem cant be adressed.

- @Shockwave743 I hate to say it, but I feel a bit like that too. Not directly perhaps, but it's common logic that those willing to spend money on cheats on a free game, either to stream and make money etc or just for fun, are also the same people to blindly spend thousands on skins and other cosmetics, fuelling the revenue of the game. If you ban a cheater who spends money, you're banning a portion of income. I think that's how they feel, whether they want to say it out loud or not.
My view however, is that these idiots will beg to be let off the hook anyway, and still spend money on the game, probably by buying a new console and trying to replace their skins.
That, and, it'd just really be cool if Respawn said "Look, you've broken the rules consistently, knowingly, and frequently. It's not our problem that you've funnelled £3k into the game, it's in our T&Cs - Goodbye".
I'll even pledge to spend more of MY cash on the game if cheaters are dealt with just to make up any lost income.
I just want a fair * game where I can enjoy, play with and introduce it to friends without them getting massacred, and stop idiots and clowns and pathetic no lifers having their enjoyment boosted at a cost of my own. It's not too much to ask. going to bump this because this is still an issue and needs to be addressed.
- @littlxr Not remotely true at all. I own every single skin out there every banner every pose every tracker i have spent a lot money on this game and never used a cheat. They will ban you in heart beat even if you have spent 10k with them. The money is a bonus to them never expected. So to lose something they never counted on being there is not much of a problem.
- @littlxr To cheat on console is a very very hard task to do. It can be done yes but this means you have access the providers software as well as the games from console. So chance of running into real cheaters on console are quite slim not to say its not possible but not easy at all to do and id assume very tight knit operation and not sharing. They dont respond to this well cause they either dont know how to do it currently working on how to detect it and cant give insight towards it as it may compermise their work with work arounds.

The anti-recoil you're referring to is also present in PS4 on a large scale, because of keyboard and mouse adapters mainly, but also simple third party mods like CronusMax and Strike Packs, among other lesser known but highly popular scripts and adapters. I've never played on PC, my issue with cheaters is on PS4, but it's the same one you face.
Third party mods allowing for keyboard and mouse use are extremely popular in the PS4 FPS gaming scene for obvious reasons, and as a result, so are the scripts and macros for them, identical to those available on PC. People have been cheating on PS4 using a mouse for years, but lately it's blown up monumentally with the increase in options and lack of action by developers. As you know from your own experience and spectating others, it's instantly and abundantly clear when someone is cheating and exploiting anti-recoil. The same can unfortunately be said on PS4, which is my whole issue here.
Undetectable by anti-cheat perhaps, but not by the simple experienced eye during spectating. This is why I'd like a response, not just because they're running rampant, but because on PS4 we don't even have the option to report anybody any more, and haven't for 14+ months. For this reason particularly, as a PS4 player, I feel like our experiences and opinions are being disregarded.
And what makes this worse, is that a large contingent of gamers still avidly believe that cheating on console is rare and difficult to do. That's the scary part, because the more I hear it, the longer I feel it'll take for the issue to get the attention it deserves.
Most players I play alongside and against now, probably due to SBMM, don't have recoil on PS4. That's the unfortunate fact of the matter, whether others experience it at the same level or not, who knows - but I certainly do, and I would invite anyone to watch me play, and spectate my killers and teammates to see it for themselves.Edit: This is a large portion of the issue I'm referring to. It's a simple addon for the PS4 controller, no intelligence needed, and it is EVERYWHERE.

Just look at 2.27 and his single fire shooting. If you did not see he changed to single fire, you would say that this is an auto-firing.

What stance you want EA/Respawn to take on this ? They need to ban half(if not all) the streamers that are using all kind of macros/scripts. And you know what will happen? The popularity of the game will drop significantly and the playerbase as well.
They are banning some streamers from time to time, to make you think their anti-cheat system is working and they don`t care who they ban, but this is just to throw something at your eyes.
I would say it again the game is filled with soft and hard cheaters atm, and the way i see it, they aren`t doing anything to prevent it and clean the game.
We - Fair players are in huge disadvantage.
i would give em a strict warning and suspend them from apex for a day or 2 and make sure they get the msg if they use recoil scripts they will be banned.

Once again im bumping this serious problem that staff has acknowledged not even once since this post has been made. The players would like answers and your thoughts on people straight bypassing your game mechanics of recoil with g-hub macro scripts to counter all recoil. Once again I will keep bumping this until staff acknowledges this major problem and has possible solutions or thoughts on it. The post has gained a lot views likes and more yet no staff will make a statement on this.
Lack of support on this thread from staff just means to me you are allowing "Pro" players to cheat your mechanics and are being allowed to do so with no punishment. Funny how people can think they are pro players when they need third party software to aim a gun. =/
Put in G-hub detections and watch how many pro players are not so pro after all.
Almost all of the streamers have G-Hub open when they play. :D
- @LordloshBang yup appears we are allowed to completely bypass game mechanics using this program. Seeing no staff comment on this speaks for it self.
- @MoNosDirtyGaming you are correct up close. These people are shooting perfectly straight lines no bullet spray from kick recoil and distance. Doing so from 100 meters away easily killing people with zero recoil on any gun they use. Flat line has a bad kick from about any distance. Yet they can perfectly shoot it 150 meters away with gun not moving a single millimeter.
- @E9ine_AC Not moving vertically or horizontally ? Because recoil is not that hard to control even the flatline put pull down and slighty to the right for the horizontal. But I know their are people using anti recoil scripts.
And he didn’t have a stock on that rifle! Ridiculous cheat!
