Recoil Macros

Can we like put a end to this already? I am sick of un fair game play because people cant aim a gun properly. Instead firing guns way faster then they should ever be able to as well as having absolutely ZERO recoil on any gun at all in the game. Does this not seem wrong to the company to have their recoil system bypassed by not so great players who cant control a gun? Why does wingmans from certain users fire like a hemlok. Why does hemlok fire like a prowler on full blast nearly? Why does a g7 fire with no delays hardly? I mean come on do something about this at the very least. Cross check in game assigned keys if you see a keypress being done not assigned in game and being hit constantly upon logs checking they have picked this gun up to use in game other then a mouses sniper button then you knonw its a recoil macro for that darn gun. This just sucks that this is allowed and never even looked into.

  • I haven't tested this enough, but when I tried shooting the hemlock while using a controller, there was little to no recoil.

Add to this the powerful controller aim assist, and you've got a unfair system.

@4ccbf460f7b926b1 There are loads of certain mouse providers public macros out to completely counter recoil on all guns by assigning the recoil pattern to a keyset normally f1 through f12 each has a assigned gun. So with that going they just hold their button to activate it and boom zero recoil. It also allows rapid fire by timing bullet release and repop time. It is very annoying and a known thing. Hemlok it self recoil is nothing. It is more the fire rate on that thing obtained by macros. But to ask. Have you ever been beemed at 200 meters away with a spitfire? This is the recoil macro allowing it to stay dead on you even at that distance with no recoil for easier tracking. It to me is 100% unfair gameplay.

I've picked up on Apex PC that most XIM / Cronusmax users have scripts for this same thing. Also there is some people talking about some types of mice that allow for scripts, but i'm not sure. It really does need to be fixed.

One on end you have people using the no recoil scripts and than you get people who understand their using them, tries to do the same on that weapon, can't and says it's OP. On this second part i'm saying it gives false feedback for weapons.

I don't know the numbers on PC using it, but on consoles, like wow. scripts users overtake cheaters on PC at this point (Apex Legends). Something really needs to be done about people using no recoil sciprts. It's getting out of hand.

@Popa2capsProlly could be fixed simply doing cross check while in game of all in game assigned hot keys compiling a log file for these. Then while only the client is running can check for alternate button mash excluding sniper button and assigned hotkeys in game. Then match that across 15 matches of guns equiped and buttons be smashed that are not assigned in game with weapons. Generate the log to show hey this key is hit every time they equip this weapon. Boom you have caught a recoil script user. Then cross check that on known mouses that can be obtained these. such as logitech and what not. Obtained from mouse hwid read.

  • While I agree that there's many forms of issue with cheaters on Apex, I think the first and foremost issue should be removing the built in aimbot (aim assist) from Apex.

Regardless on which one is more troublesome, removing Aim assist would at least be an easy way for EA to show interest in cleaning up the unfair advantages.

(And it should be incredibly easy for them to toggle a switch to disable aim assist for PC)
