REMOVE MASTIFF ! OMG !

I swear ! I got killed by a guy level 60 ! plz it's a beginner ! MASTIFF requires no shot ! How to ruin a game with 12 bombs cuz of this noob gun ! get brain when you are doing some updates !

Mastiff has been the most stupid gun to be brought out of care packages, it was OP from day 1 and the fact that is has been allowed to stick around for almost four (!!!) seasons now is unbelivable. Players at all levels screamed before season 8 to nerf it substantially or put it back in the care package yet it was allowed to stick around. Of course people will abuse it when it is a legedary gun off drop that can turn any fight. It is not even worth picking up a PK over it, Mastiff has bigger mag size, is easier to use and can kill someone in 2 shots just as PK. PK was good when it was ground loot but it was way harder to use, it actually took skill.

IMO they can put both mastiff and PK in care packages if they can't find a way to balance them.

@Burnie_00 I dunno. Players call for a nerf for anything pretty quickly. Even Rampart and her Ult were deemed OP early on. If not for the massive number of complaints I'd continue to view it as "players whining about something that beats them."

Maybe shotguns and snipers don't belong in the game since they're either too weak or too strong for the community to accept.

Still... What's this nonsense about a gun requiring ADS (Mastiff) being easier to use than the flexible PK? I'm mocking the idea slightly but I really just don't see how it's easier other than the faster rate of fire with a bolt.

@Zamaha400if you play the game at all I should not have to tell you why mastiff is OP. There’s a reason everybody uses it.

The nonsense that mastiff is better than pk is that mastiff is way more consistent than pk and it has crazy range for a shotgun. The spread of PK made it harder to hit high damage shots, a bad player will hit you for 11/22 dmg per pump. I rarely got destroyed as fast by the PK as I do regularly with the mastiff.

Personally I would be happy if both were removed for good thus ending the shotgun meta.

  @Burnie_00 I was talking about it being easier to use not better. Both guns are fairly inconsistent with the Mastiff feeling worse to me.
  The spread of the PK should make it slightly harder to hit shots but more likely to land high damage ones at least in theory.
  Wide spread = I'll probably hit something.
  Tight spread = IF I hit then you're dead.
  The Mastiff advantages are a high rate of fire (with a bolt) and not having the awkward animation between each shot like the PK does.
  The PK should have greater range and a better chance of high damage shots due to the more clustered spread.
  I'd like to see both guns outside the care package a bit to compare though.

    @Zamaha400 You are a maniac, if both pk and mastiff comes out of CP im quitting the game. PK without choke does not have nearly the same range as mastiff. You can pump someone for 70 dmg mid-close range with mastiff.
