REMOVE MASTIFF ! OMG !

@CrashA320 Saw the Mastiff consistently hit for 78 damage on one of the targets and started to think it was a problem. Then I saw you hit the dummies for 13-26 damage at that same range and realized the 78 only happened because it was a bigger target. That damage is low enough that no individual shot is a real threat and loses to any decent SMG or Assault Rifle. The rate of fire with a purple bolt is still the only thing that looks concerning with the Mastiff.

I'd be happy with a range nerf too but no video ever shows it being a consistent ranged threat. Just a lucky weapon you can spam at a distance to be annoying.

The amount of damage should be 0 on those targets...

The latest patch nerfing the mastiffs damage is live. I wonder if the mastiff can still do this.

Mastiff is still OP, they should reduce the spawn rate!
Picture before S8 Chaos Theory Update... but they only reduce from 13 to 11 so there is not a lot getting better.

@WreckingVi They likely don't believe the gun needs rebalancing yet. It may badly need a nerf but the arguments in favor of that are mostly bad. Made even worse by people who wanted to switch it with another gun that the community complained was OP ages ago (PK).

I'm starting to lean towards it being a problem but I lose interest every time someone mentions the Mastiff's fighting potential at range.

Stop complaining about nerfing and removing guns!!  Growing up playing video games, you got what you got.  This cancel culture crap has to start somewhere.  Practice and make your game better.  Always think the worst when going into a fight.  I am sure that you have NEVER used a Mastiff on anyone....
