R99 needs to go back in the drops or nerfed or Alternator buffed to match it in dps.
The only counter to it atm is the Mastif or maybe Volt.
Its just too good and a must use weapon atm due to dps, rof, strafe speed, ammo availability, reload speed and range with barrel mod.
Respawn ffs change things up, we are bored of the 99 meta. Waiting for change until I return.

What is it matter if people are using R99 or not?
You should look yourself and ask the question. Is this weapon OP/Broken ? No its not ! Can i beat this weapon with any other weapon in the game ? Yes i can !!! Can i outperform this weapon ? Yes i can !
Sorry but you want a completely fine weapon to be nerfed, because people just like it, and play with it, there is no sense behind it.
The weapon is not OP/Broken compare to its alternative.
I gave you a Pro opinion, who obviously is 100x time better than you and me and know the game better than both. If you ask any pro they will tell you the same.
Whatever you like it or not, Hemlock is better, R301 is better in 80% of the situation, Volt is better in 90% of the situation, Flatline is better in some situation, Wingman is also comparable to R99, and better in certain situation, and so on.
To be effective with R99 you need to land your shot, for that you need great recoil control + great aim.
@LordloshBangPretty sure you took offence on your own accord by admitting to being an R99 user and implying you won't be able to transition to a different weapon if R99 was removed.
About that 1v1 - add me on game, I'll show you what top 15, 1% on 3daimtrainer looks like with R99 since you seem to think that you are a big boy? Maybe let's even make a wager on it and stream it. What do you say, big boy?
P.S Hemlock is only a better weapon in longer range, every 1v1 encounter is going to end up with R99 user winning simply because of higher rate of fire / DPS. Your Wingman comparison to R99 is completely ridiculous and makes me seriously question if you understand the concept of rate of fire or have much experience with the game, no hate. One can abuse R99 by avoiding longer range fights. Pick wraith and use Q to move out of every fight to a close range fight. Oh wait, that's what most of the players are abusing already 😉
Btw, what your forum's "PRO" status has to do with anything? Isn't it based on registration time / number of posts. How does having lots of posts / old registration date make you more knowledgeable on balancing of FPS game? I'd understand, had you said "I'm competitively playing FPS since UT/Q3 era".
The only things that truly need balance are R99 - either lower dmg or rate of fire, lower mastiff's dmg / less pellets, make wraith thicker for a bigger hitbox.

My point exactly, if the 99 wasn't a good weapon it wouldn't be in 90% of gun fights. The game is boring and stale atm, meta needs a shake up. I use to watch 3 or 4 of my favourite content creator's every day but now I don't bother because its the R99 every single game.

Pretty sure the R-99 and the Volt are pretty similar and about equal. The R-99 is probably used a lot because it is a classic gun that has always been pretty viable.

Oh i guess all the pros in the game, as well as ShivFPS doesn`t know what they are doing and talking, and they are dog... because they are using R99, right ?
If you actually(and this is to both of you) play the game at high level or just constantly, you will see that R99 is far from the most used weapon, and there is ton other weapons that are being used.
In the tournaments recently, R99 was barely used, and Pro switched to it(but still preferred Volt) late, when they are in close range.
As far as Hemlock goes, its a better weapon all around if you have good aim and know how to use it. Its also a lot easier to use in a distances. In CQC distance Mastiff is a must, so R99 become pretty useless and there is way better alternatives.
Even R99 loves like Hal and Albralelie prefer R301, Flatline and Volt.

As far as the aim trainer, good on your supposedly top 15 on a pretty much secondary aim trainer. Every top aimer is using Kovaak.

The challenge was for your backup buddy - BrainDeadWraiths, who claimed that R99 is a monster at range, and could easily beam at 100+ range. Thats why i dare him to show us, cause this was entirely untrue.
I already get banned(the reason i didn`t responded early) because of getting in a absolutely senseless discussion with casual, as far as 1vs1 goes, as i already did with one guy, and the result is well known, and i eat pretty much eat a ban for it.
That won`t happen again.
Still kinda strange a guy with 1 post in his entirely history to come out of no where to protect his buddy and challenge for 1 vs1, as his buddy didn`t want to backup his words. :D
That was from me on the topic, and i`m done with such discussion, cause i`m tired of ridiculous bans.
