Stop Grouping Me With Controllers on Apex PC

@Popa2capsYeah, it seems like most of the forum is in agreement about this.
I've had good luck with Ranked lately. I tend to get more 'fair' matches, as most good players have already out ranked me.

Extra Edit: (Although cheating feels like its back in full swing lately. And I've been unable to play anything but ranked without getting instantly lasered. Getting close to giving up)

I created a new account, hit 3500 damage. I don't like killing new players just starting out. I would like if i could just get a mouse only server. I'm hurting players by killing them with a new account. I guess it would move me to higher level rooms, but even after my 3500 game, i was sent to a nub server.

So i'm still with my last opinion, Apex needs mouse only servers. If a controller player doesn't like it on PC, they can move to consoles, or start using a mouse.

@Popa2capsI wish they either make controllers not a problem, or separate it as well. I had a twitch streamer who was playing with a controller, and they were the first one to die. Fun fact: They yelled at me and the 3rd, calling us trash and such. I've reported them, sure, but the fact that we had a controller player with the audacity to call m+k players trash is insane.

Also, it was a RANKED game. Guy ran into a fight between two other squads, got knocked, and made his death our problem. If rank penalty wasn't a thing, I would of just left that match. Instead I had to keep playing. So, I just spent the rest of the match trolling them. They kept getting more enraged, and the 3rd laughed at them getting mad.

Bottom line: Being toxic is a pointless choice to make. Like, if you're gunna go "YOU'RE SO <> TRASH!!!" say it with a muted mic. No one cares about your opinion. We're all platinum too, guy was like "can't believe you two idiots made it this far". I just told him if he spent less time complaining, and more time playing, maybe he'll get good.

But yeah, 100% agree that we should have the option to NOT be shoved right smack into a team with controller users. Not only is using a controller somewhat a disadvantage. (I've tried using one in Training, just to see how it feels, hated it btw) but you lack the movement you get with a m+k, so it's literally no one else's fault but yours when you die using a controller.

Yah if more people would spread the message around that mouse and & keyboard should be split from controllers, they should add it. With high ranking streamers already talking about it, i'm sure it will happen at one point. Even some pros changed to mouse & keyboard because they might even know it's coming (they play in alpha Apex).

Respawn shouldn't force little aim slowdown bots on my target just because they don't want to learn. Shoot, even on consoles there should be a setting to only play with people with aim assist off or on.

@Popa2capsPartially agree and disagree, I think they should add partial crossplay, group controller users on pc with console and group mouse and key players with mouse and key only, other games like fortnite should do the same thing... console users will complain because some pc users will have higher fps but whenever ps5 and the new xbox are released newer consoles will also have better fps

All mouse and key players do is complain about controller users and all controller users want to do is play the damn game in peace we dont complain that often

this logic will work for solo queue players but for those in pre made squads there could possibly be seperate servers for teams mixed between pc and console but im not sure if apex will have the playerbase to support mixed servers too or not... so im not sure exactly what respawn would do there if there wasnt enough pre mades to fill the lobbies quickly these are only pre mades with atleast 1 Controller and 1 mouse and key user on them if you do 3 controller or 3 mouse and key your fine , actually... maybe a better solution would be to queue all premade squads together between all platforms so players who solo queue have better games that are actually fair and wont have to run into a premade squad with excellent communication and planning and there would be better matchmaking for all players in general

I'm both a controller and mouse & keyboard user. If i'm using a controller and just killing everything, i still feel bad for the mouse users i kill. If i'm using a mouse & keyboard i do hate it when someone just gets to beam me with a controller.

Like if someone doesn't think controllers are OP in Apex, try to play PUBG on PC with a controller, that is a workout and i've done it lol. The recoil alone is nightmare, with no aim assist, it's very hard. Spooks me just thinking about it.

I did try Apex out on consoles for about  4 hours like 6 months ago. Got 20+ kills, got called something racist when i died from some young person on Xbox. So yah, i'm not biased towards one side, i think that's where people forget that I use both and on PC.

I also wouldn't call it complaining, i would say it's making sure the game is fair for everyone.

u@Popa2capsI wasnt talking about you specifically its just atleast 75% of mouse and key players always complain at some point so yall should be seperate and controller on pc should be with consoles on every game other than that crossplay shouldnt exist it should be based on your input if Controller input your controller only lobbies and mouse and key input your mouse and key lobbies only then there wont be anyone raging to remove aim assist or nerf aim assist and all that nonsence, there might still be issues with console users having mouse and key with aim assist or controller user somehow find a way to get into mouse and key lobbies though

O yah i'm sorry if you thought i was calling you out for the comment, my bad. Just letting you know i use both from time to time. I would like crossplay in the long run for Apex, but with no aim assist, but able they can move while they loot.
