[Suggestion] First chest opened should always contain a weapon
Long title which already explains the initial request. But to explain my point, more so the "as to why", here's the following 'not too rare' scenario my team and I come across:
We jump into a less busy area, often however we still have enemies nearby because obviously we aren't the only one's with that plan. Our most unlucky landing was near 4 chests, which you would assume should at least contain one weapon. But well, it didn't happen. All 3 of us had attachments for weapons and some armor, but overall we didn't have anything to fight with. So our next bet was to go to a nearby assortment of more chests. Which contained one weapon. We were forced to go to a city, which sadly had enemies in them, which resulted in our inevitable death because - you know... we didn't have weapons. Or only one.
This specific scenario - while not too common - kind of ruins the match for any squad. And it also somewhat ruins the aspect of 'landing anywhere' - The most guaranteed weapons are found in cities and outposts, but those are especially the enemy filled places. But even those places aren't guaranteed to have weapons where you landed, but often just contain everything else but weapons. Scavenging a whole house for one weapon, so one team member had a weapon but the rest had to stay back, eventually getting attacked and being defenseless.
So the suggestion is simple: The first chest opened by every player should contain at least one weapon + ammunition. It wouldn't be overpowered because it treats ever player and team right, and would cause a whole new 'tactic' or 'meta' to land in even just some deserted areas.
Kind regards - Pericles
