Apex is a movement + aim game, nothing else.
you just described Halo.
Apex is far deeper than that. The various abilities are what contribute to apex being in a class of its own. A rock, scissors, paper approach in which you can find your favorite style of play (leading to more people enjoying the game), while the core balance evolves from season to season with shifting nuances in those abilities.
