- 1000% agreed.

- I've posted this in another post for his same issue:
I don't agree with cancelling a finisher, but I think there should be a change to prevent you coming across this issue.
Firstly about executions - i think now there's a good balance of risk/reward with them. You'd be taking away the only con to doing a finisher, plus you come out of the animation after your first bit of damage, so there's still a chance to either fight back or regroup.
As for the door/finisher issue - i've heard of this before and it seems to be down to the keyboard bindings. On controller there's a clear difference between tapping a button to open a door or reload and holding to perform an execution. You don't seem to have this on kb/mouse. If you could set execution as it's own keybinding this would mean prevent the door issue. i figured out how to not get caught in the finisher move.............kill the rest of the team first before trying to secure a kill!
Well..i guess its hard for you, but its not pssible to fix that 😉
To many possibilities for bugs if they try that.
One thing you can try is..if that is possible, i never tried..choose another button for the finisher 😉
- At the moment the finisher key/button is tied into the interact button, there's no way to change one without the other.
- On console the similar issue I've run into is with revives and finishers. Downed enemy is near downed teammate, attempt to revive teammate and finisher is triggered. Then you get melted and gg... sucks
- @RecklessKaos you need to pay attention to the prompt.
If it doesn’t say “hold **action button** to revive” then you’re gonna performed an execute.
It’s just like the OP and his door issue.
It’s tap **action button** to open a door. Hold to execute.

It’s tap **action button** to open a door. Hold to execute.Actually to complete revive you do have to hold it. Releasing just cancels it out...
- @RecklessKaos yes, again - as stated above - you need to pay attention to the prompt on the screen. It’s contextual.
