I play on M+K on PC and I strongly believe that 99.9% who complains about aim assist for controllers are hardstuck platinums or worse who also screams "SIT THE **** DOWN" every time they randomly "one clips" an enemy with already half empty white armor with a R99 hip fire burst from 0.5 meters but also screams "CHEATER" every time the exact same situation happens to them.
There are absolute no advantages to play on controller for said 99.9% of the player base. M+K is superior in every way. The only valid discussion about aim assist should be focused on the 0.01% which are the very top elo, i.e the pro scene. At this skill percentile of players, the M+K players pretty much reached the "skill cap level" of movement and cant really improve much there but so have the controller players too. In other words; the very, very best controller players out there are so darn good at movement with controller that the gap of all the advantages that M+K has over controller is greatly minimized so whats left is the aiming. When it comes to aiming, M+K is superior at mid-to-long distance. BUT the "problem" here is that most kills of pro level matches are quite rarely happening at mid-to-long distance.. Most kills happens in the later rounds (round 3+) where 50-57 still living players are forced together by the circle in fights for position. And most of these are determined on close range, usually with a shotgun and one other spray gun where two or more teams fight around Gibbie bubbles and in those fights can aim assist huge.
And THAT is precisely why there even is a valid reason to have this debate but once again; for 99.9% of the player base who arent playing at pro level, its not just applicable.
Eh... I only have a problem with strike pack users and those who use xim to glitch in using a mouse and keyboard to use with the 40-60% aim assist (depending on their platform). Aim assist in of itself isn't overpowered.

- RaginSam4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Palette24carats Ah, the laziest of post. The YouTube link with no personal description or thoughts.
You have some really bad takes on everything. Aim Assist needs adjustment. It’s overturned. - @r1ggedgame Nice, good luck! I also haven't even taken a look at the video yet. It looked like clickbait, which in the end everyone has their own opinions about it.
The main opinion is that aim assist is too strong, this (from what I understand) is when the already reduced recoil is combind with mods, such as strikepacks and xim (m/k on console). This combination of the game's mechanics and the player's setup leads to the illusion that aim assist is broken.
What's most likely happening is that the anti-recoilers are strikepack players, and xim is all the ones that "flawlessly" snap to players back to back, since they're on a mouse and keyboard. This could also be assisted with actual aimbotting cheats which fully leads into the illusion that its the aim assist. - Anonymous4 years agoI have to disagree with this video and title because the user seems very biased, being they too use a controller and the title seems directed towards others like they're automatically incorrect.
A good video I've found also brings up some good arguments, but it should be noted it was from a mouse & keyboard player (I think).
Biased as in, someone posts an argument up and anyone that argues it is seen automatically wrong.
All of the arguments come from one opinion that it's mostly mouse & keyboard users spreading the notion that aim assist is overpowered, but hasn't anyone thought that other controller users might too not like aim assist and want it changed? @Popa2capsas a controller player, I hate aim assist.
I see the M and K players constantly complaining about how it's too powerful and how they don't want console players in their lobbies because of it, and I laugh. I doubt any of them have ever played on controller before and I mean an unmodded, regular basic * controller.
It's one thing when you're playing against npcs that basically sit in one spot for you to shoot them, but against a moving target controlled by another player, it's more of a hindrance.
People don't get that aim assist can guide you to them, but it doesn't stick once they start moving. In fact it drags behind them, making you have to fight to get a lead on your target. Or if someone else gets too close, it guides you to them instead. I've been screwed out of kills and even killed because of it. I want it gone.It sucks that us normal controller players get a bad rep because people can't tell the difference between a modded controller and a normal one.
- Palette24carats4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Popa2caps Watched your videos... it claims to answer the video of this post but it does not... not a single argument in it.. not a single point of video #1 is adressed.
Which proves video #1 is correct. - Palette24carats4 years agoSeasoned Ace@Popa2caps It's the most stupid thing to use a video of a cheat 1.0 aim assist to prove that 0.4 or 0.6 aim assist is overpowered.
this aged well. * *.
