You think hitboxes are fair?
I think this should be adjusted in some manner.
So far my only though is to adjust legends speed based on their size, to make it a bit more fair.
Smaller legends go slower than bigger ones.

New players just get so destroyed when they try Gibraltar, is so unfair. I would increase his fortified from 15% to 20% or reduce his hitbox.
Revenant has also a big hitbox, it should be reduced a little bit.
And Octane and Wraith have so much advantage with their tiny hitboxes. When you go agaisnt pro movement players is imposible to shoot them.
I absolutley agree on the whole Hitbox stuff..
I need no data to see for myself, i wear on every legends Games played and Kills Trackers to get a rudimental understanding of their respective K/d.
Under the ones i play most:
Lifeline: 500kills more than games played, BangBang: 300kills, Octane: 250, Crypto roughly 180 - 200.
Caustic... 40 Kills more than games played.
Yes im aware they're all different calibers of characters but there is undeniably a pattern
Hitboxes are broken from the start. Remember hunching Wraith?
But hitboxes are only a part of equation, other part is how the character animations are played. This is where You can clearly see some characters being broken.
But if I understand correctly respawn wanted to create a game of odds not pure skill, so we have what we have.

Apex Legends BR is a rock-scissors-paper style game where you choose which you want to be and hope you can use your strengths against your opponent.
I don't think you can say one is more fair than the other, because this is an asymmetric game by design. That is, there is no attempt to make things equal, rather make them unique.
I have thought for some time that Gibby is too slow and big, or at least that is the impression, thus making him a juicier target from range. But I don't know if he really is slower. He looks slower, by the animation, but it seems that everyone, other than octane, keep up with each other.
If anyone needs adjustment, its Octane's speed. His speed is supposed to be his defense (too fast to hit), but it is too fast for a lot of average shooters (like me). That is the only legend whose traits seem way out of balance to the whole of the game.
DISCLAIMER: I realize my comments here are more novice than pro or ranked, but I just felt strongly about saying Octane is insanely too fast and is the hardest target for me to hit by a country mile compared to any other legend.
@reconzero "...after 22k matches I still dread close-quarters combat with a Wraith. I guess I always will. "
For me, it's Octane that I dread any kind of encounter. I handle wraith just fine.
