4+ Years Ignored – Still No Option to Change My 2019 Heirloom?

Hi all,

I’ve been contacting EA Support daily for the past two weeks about an issue I’ve had with my heirloom — the one I received back in 2019, before players had the ability to choose which heirloom they wanted.

All I’m asking for is a one-time refund of 150 heirloom shards or a chance to choose a different heirloom. But after 14 days of messages, I’ve gotten nothing but copy-pasted replies and no actual answers. It’s frustrating, and I know I’m not alone — there are posts about this issue going back years.

What makes this worse is that there have been multiple examples of EA modifying accounts after the fact — like in Season 14, when the free Lifeline and Horizon emotes were given to everyone, removed, and then later sold as event exclusives. So clearly, the tools exist to make account changes.

It’s unacceptable that the heirloom drop rate is still so low (with a 500-pack pity), yet there’s no basic refund or exchange option — especially for players who didn’t get to choose their heirloom in the first place. Many other games offer refund systems; why doesn’t Apex?

EA has said “we’re sharing feedback with the team” for over four years now. At this point, that response is meaningless unless something is actually done.

I’ll keep pushing this issue until I get a fair resolution:
→ 150 heirloom shards
→ Or the ability to select a different heirloom
→ Or a direct replacement of my Wraith heirloom

Early supporters of the game deserve better. Transparency and fairness should be the standard — not the exception.
