@bosourd Me and my two buddies that I normally play with, get on to each other all the dang time about this. We have been gaming together for nearly a decade, so it's all in jest, but it happens A LOT, Lmao! We each pretty much have our "landing spot" at every POI, but sometimes, borders are not heeded, and wars break out XD
More on-point for your post though, with randoms, yea, I hate it! I intentionally do not try to loot the same room/bin/building as a team mate, unless the drop is super hot and it is necessary for survival. Once the initial drop and ensuing chaos have subsided a bit, I don't mind someone following me around, so long as they aren't actively trying to beat me to "my" loot (i.e. something shiny just ahead, that we both can see, but I am clearly ahead in line for)
Every now and then, I'll run Octane for a match, just to loot-goblin-troll my buddies, but again, we're old friends, so it's all in good fun
