Account Banned with No Reason

Writing this on behalf of my friend. He has played the game since it came out and got me into playing it. He usually just plays casually, but at the start of this season, he wanted to see how far he could make it in ranked. He made it to top 120 in pred before his account got banned. EA did not provide a reason for this ban, even after several disputes. He has stream footage to show no cheating during gameplay, computer scans to show there is no software that goes against policy. EA won't even look at any of it. He met some friends through pred matchmaking and had been consistently only queuing up with them. His teammates would do just as much, if not more sometimes, damage per game and there were no bans issued on their accounts. Furthermore, he never talks in game chat or types, so there is no way the ban could be for language that violates community guidelines. The biggest problem is the lack of reasoning for the ban. If they suspected him of cheating, would they say that cheating is the reason for the ban? EA is saying they are not providing any more information about the ban for "legal reasons", but if the ban is legitimate, what legal reason could there be for not providing the reason for the ban?

He has filed disputes a couple of times now and EA still fails to look at any provided evidence or supply any more information about ban. The only responses have been auto-generated stating they will not take any further action.

Again, he has been playing this game since it came out and is now afraid to play at all because he has no idea what he did wrong to get his account banned. This was his first time in many years attempting to move up in ranked and it feels like he is simply being punished for doing well at the game.

Any insight on how to get a ban reason would be appreciated.

    Thanks milkmaid12.

We wouldn't be able to discuss details of the account on the forums, or with someone that's not the account owner.

However, the reason they didn't see an email initially would likely be for the reasons they brought up in case 215971985. It looks like there were a couple possible reasons why that was the case, which they discussed with an advisor. They're welcome to revisit that case for the details.

The first appeal created after that point would be in case 216477719, which again they should be able to pull up through their case history. That very first appeal does include the reason for the account ban.

I'd definitely suggest that your friend take another look through their case history, as this:

EA did not provide a reason for this ban, even after several disputes.

    - does not appear to be accurate. Thanks for looking out for a friend!
