For a start, not a worthless hat, and I agree with your TL:DR, and I have no hate on those wanting solo mode as well as teams but the way you put across some of your points makes you sound rather entitled.
As a breakdown:
1:
-You don't 'have to' help people with finding weapons and armor, but it's a significantly useful part of preventing you team being under powered when you come up in a fight. Who knows, maybe helping you team gear up will mean that 'wannabe shroud' will win a gun fight and not leave you without a squad mate.
- When you get split up, you realise you're moving away from them just as much as you're they're moving away from you? Yes you will on occasion just get someone who goes rogue, but I find if you stick near 1 of them the other has more incentive to fall in line. Ping is your friend here, call out your intention to move across/over, loot areas, if somone's been through an area, if you need meds/ammo/items, if you spot an enemy and again, my experience is people see you're serious, know what you're looking to do and follow suit.

- I don't want to sound like a complete tool here for saying it, as i hate those people who go "find friend you loser!" on forums. But the reality is all of the points in this section are avoidable by doing a small bit of work and seeking out one of the 100's of LFG groups/discord servers that have popped up.
On day 1 i had no one to play with on xbox - found and LFG ground on this forum, plays loads of games with different people (some chill/good, some not so) and kept hold of the ones who I enjoyed playing with and wanted to play the game with the same attitude and reasonable skill as me. I've now got a pool of 16ish people who i can regally play with.
Again, don't want to sounds like a tool, and no hate on your solo mode, totally agree with you that it probably wont impact my team play - but in the meantime, might be worth checking some of these groups out.

If you're playing with friends and they're showing the behaviors from people you've described in your first point, why are you playing with them???

From my own experience pre-made squad helps. But according to a stat tracker i've had 16 wins and only 4 of those have been with pre-made squads, so it'd far from a guarantee of success.
Maybe when i'm match made with randoms i'm coming across a pre-made team of people like you and your friends who apparently don't help each other gear up, split off into solo's and take on multiple enemies alone..... 🤔
That said i totally agree on the whole making friends/staying in squads bit. It'd be great if we had easier tools to stay with the cool people we meet in games- through the game itself.
All the best on getting the solo mode, hope you can still enjoy in the meantime.
